Wish this was a double drop 😭

Adam is Magic

I would rather them post 5x12 and 5x13 seperately than together since they didn't even air together originally so they work well on their own. I think should 6x1 and 6x2 together that feels more like a 2 parter.

zaphyre

bruh there’s not gonna be double drops anytime soon if the virus keeps getting worse, they’re on lockdown too

Heru Muharrar

We all do and I'm sure the Normies do as well but we have to adjust our expectations during these tumultuous times.

Big Mike

Wow .. no double drop? ... so disappointed 😔 ... what a let down.......

Man I can’t wait for your reactions to my favorite part in the next episode! 😭🙌🏽

Tejan J Salaam

This episode was easily a 10/10 for me. Which two parter finale do yall think was the best?

Anonymous

lol just wait till bellarke next season 👀

Anonymous

Also lots of bellarke content in the finale too 👀

Not gonna lie. Clexa has my heart.

I like his perspective on Clarke b/c i always knew it was about Madi and kinda understood but with that in depth it makes more sense to me

bits

I can't believe they compared letting a 13 yo march into battle in a death gorge to letting your kid go to a party ahahahaha. Of COURSE Clarke wouldn't let Madi go, it is not at all unreasonable. 🤣 And Chris you're wrong bro, Pat was speaking truth. Clarke doesn't give a shit about the grounder culture over Madi, she wouldn't be able to protect her on the front line & Clarke isn't Rambo, able to take out 100 men and a multitude of those crazy cannon guns, even if she snuck up from behind. Also, shocking Madi is honestly the waay lesser evil - I'm guessing every mother would say better to have your child hate you but Alive vs love you & dead.

A De La Torre

Absolutely agree! This is the one time I didn't really question Clarke's actions. The whole thing is complicated but many parents would freak out just as much as Clarke did.

bits

Can't wait, if Bellarke doesn't happen ... 😫😂

A De La Torre

Wasn't Lexa basically saying she knows Clarke loves Bellamy and she doesn't want Clarke to betray him the way she did Clarke? Also, let's not forget Octavia calling Bellamy out for loving Clarke. I dunno y'all, I’ve been smelling a Blarke setup for years

Jayden Shepherd

Y'all really making us wait a week to see your reaction to episode 13? EVIL!

The Dude's Rug

we need a double drop:) its the finale AND the last week of the month...please

I'm ready for the water works next episode.

I'm all for people to have their interpretations and ships but the reply to your question is a big no in my opinion. It wasn't about him at all. It was about the kind of person Clarke is and the possibility of betraying multiple people and letting them die. They did compare the possible betrayal but not the love. Again i don't care about the fact that some people want to see Blarke happen but i had to reply because i feel like what you wrote downgrades Clarke and Lexa's love and Lexa's character and that it's your own interpretation not what actually happened in the scene. And we'll see what happens but i do believe that Clarke loves Bellamy she's just not in love with him. Lexa is dead and it hurts a little bit that some people make that scene about their ship and make her out to be a Blarke shipper basically when let's be real Lexa wouldn't like to see Clarke with anyone else but her. That's not who Lexa is as a character and that wasn't her purpose in that scene.

What's funny about these 2 parters in this show is that none of them ever aired together despite being labeled as 2 parters. So you could also watch them separate.

Suraj: Ethan got no development, he's dead....BOOM, literally happening 😂😂 poor kid!

We can't do any double or triple drops for Naruto during this covid crisis

Wolverine101

The cubes were processed, so yes they cooked it. Suraj is right, the algae plan would never have worked. McCreary has missiles, they can't defend against that at all. The failure of this attack, and the subsequent massacre, is squarely on the shoulders of Octavia, Kane, and Diyoza. But it's mostly Kane and Octavia. One of the motifs of this season is the phrase "Two snakes, one garden. Eden never stood a chance". A lot of the debate about this season was who the two snakes are. I personally believe that the two snakes are Kane and Octavia, because it is ultimately their conflict which started in the Dark Year that caused this current situation. I think it's also really telling that they took two different paths through this. Kane continues to pass the buck, to not look at his own guilt for what he caused Octavia to become, and it has seemingly cost him his life. Octavia, in a similar situation, accepts her own share of the blame for what happened and at least tries to redeem herself. This is most shown by the comparison of the Kane/Abby/Vinson scenes and Octavia/Bellamy/Indra/Gaia scene. In Kane's death scene, Vinson says something that is really telling of where Kane's mind is right now. He says, "If only our conscience was more than a little voice we pretend to listen to between unspeakable acts" (surprised this wasn't in the edit given it's importance to Kane's character). Kane's whole entire life up to this point on the show has been him trying to assuage his guilty conscience. His mantra has always "each day we do a little better than the day before", and well we saw where that got Bellamy in season 4 (it led to some really poor decision making). Another part of the scenes in the gas station that really shows where Kane is at mentally is that he and Abby have switched places. Back in season 4 he told her "First we survive, then we get out humanity back", but here she is saying it to him and he patently rejects it. He is so wrapped up in his own guilty conscience that he doesn't make any effort to place blame where it belongs, and not just put it all on Octavia so he can feel better. He also seems to be in complete and utter denial in regards to the fact that he is literally dooming all of Wonkru because of a spat with Octavia. McCreary should have chained him up and made him listen to all of them die. Conversely, in the scenes in the gorge, we see Octavia go begin to actually work through her own guilt and culpability and finally arrive at the conclusion that she is one the main reasons for the situation they are in. And it nearly breaks her. It is clear that she care deeply about the safety of Wonkru, and she chooses to accept responsibility for what happened during the attack. That said she does still run from guilt, but not by placing blame on someone else, rather by seeking absolution through heroic sacrifice. I love that the writers did this this episode, and I love that they didn't let Octavia die. She's much more interesting having to live through it. Now for Clarke. The shock collar was not a good thing, and it sent a lot of the fandom into a rage. Understandable, as Clarke really did lose sight of what matters. You have to remember who her mother is, not exactly the best role model for being a mom. That said, as awful as what she did was, it was born out of love. It is clear that she is not happy about what she chose to do, but she is desperate and believes that Madi and her mother are the only two people left alive who actually care about her. Bellamy betrayed her when he put the flame in Madi. Madi's very existence as a commander is a threat to Octavia so she can't trust her. Diyoza has tried to kill her at every turn, and yet Diyoza is the only realistic option for ensuring her daughter's safety. She is literally flying by the seat of her pants, and it leads to some awful things. She truly believed Bellamy to be dead, after all she did leave him to the fighting pits after he betrayed her and drew the ire of his sister whom she believed to be the biggest threat. A lot of people really hate that scene with Echo, but I find it very insightful for those who don't really understand why Clarke did what she did. Everyone she has ever loved has either died, been hurt, or betrayed her. She doesn't want that for Madi, and Madi is ultimately what kept her sane for those 6 years in the valley. That created a very unhealthy dependence, so much so that Clarke likely would not be able to function without Madi by her side. Lastly Vinson, I can finally go into full detail. Like I said last week, he is the personification of the Dark Year. Or better yet, he is Kane's guilt and Abby's addiction made flesh. He feels fulfilled when he feels needed, much like Abby's addiction. And much like an addiction, when she finally kicks him out and runs to Kane, he does everything he can to get back in her good graces. As for his relation to Kane, he is both the personification of Kane's guilt and the manifestation of his conscience that is torturing him for the things he has done or allowed to happen. I find it amazing that his whole character is this massive metaphor for all of Abby and Kane's struggles this season, and I find it even amazing that as the manifestation of Kane's conscience, he is what ultimately kills Kane. Just amazing writing. I believe that this season is ultimately about addiction, for some characters literally and for others metaphorically. Abby was literally addicted to pills. Kane to the moral high ground. Octavia to the safety of power. Clarke to Madi. Even Bellamy was addicted to the image of his little sister to the extent that he was incapable of seeing her as a different person. Addiction takes many forms and it makes us all do irrational, horrible, and unspeakable things. It made Abby torture Raven. It made Kane betray everyone he cares about so that he can pin the blame on someone else. It pushed Octavia into the protective shell of Blodreina where she did not have to think about the horrible she is doing on a daily basis. It pushed Clarke to do awful things to the person she loves the most in this world in the name of keeping her safe. And it stopped from sympathizing with his sister and helping her overcome her demons. Have fun with next week's episode, guys!!!

“Hope he comes back as a beautiful butterfly” 😂😂😂

“See you in another life” ha..ha..ha

What do we say to the Commander of Death? Not today. 😂

Kataleesi

How can Marketa be so understanding of Octavia but be so absolutely stubborn when it comes to understanding Clarke and her need to protect her child.. I’m baffled 😕

bits

Agreed about Clarke! ... I've noticed she's that way with others shows too though - she has her favorites and her non-favorites and it's hard for them to switch sides. Jaha, Pike, Cap'n Flint - They could be angels for an entire season and I'm guessing she'd still be a little salty towards them lol 😂 & she's very loyal to her favs, like Octavia. (I'm not saying that's bad!)

Sou saetern

Is anyone else so bothered by the way they say damocles? I'm not saying they're stupid, just that it bothers me lol. I'm sorry, I just have a thing about words.
