First, translation for Amaya's mourning of her sister: "Hello, big sister. You were my hero. Perfect, strong, enduring, compassionate… and I am really sorry big sister, I have failed you. I had your boys safely with me, but they’re missing now."

Second, something that's important, but not very spoilery: Callum and Ezran are technically half-brothers. Sarai was Callum's mother, then she remarried Harrow and had Ezran. I say technically because there's nothing that makes you question their brotherly love for each other.

One of my favorite aspects of this show is not subtitling Amaya's dialogue that doesn't have an interpreter. Power move. Giving us all a glimpse of how people who dont speak our native language feel in the real world. On top of that, for me personally, it always left me feeling "hey, you should know sign language!"

I think this show more than anything else, made me realize how I really should learn sign language. I guess the only thing stopping me is that I don't personally know anyone around here that could teach me. Sure, I could just learn online but it's just not the same as having an in-person tutor that you interact with. Even if I wind up never using it, as the old saying goes: "I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it."

Not really spoilers, it was said in the first episode but they dumped a lot of info there so it was easy to miss but humans don’t have any connection to magic at all, the cube was glowing next to callum bc he has the orb not bc of him. That’s why they use dark magic bc dark magic is just taking the essence of magic creatures to cast spells where elves and dragons can just be born able to do magic

I got these translations from a post on reddit by a deaf person fluent in ASL: The first one when Amaya was at the grave - "Hello sister. You were my hero.
