Damn didn't realize you guys were doing the Star Wars prequels, so down! Love those movies!

Really glad Rana liked the movie and it wasnt just picked at the entire time. I'm sure Chris was mad that people actually enjoyed the movie after all the hate he throws at the prequels lol I for one think it's awesome that people are experiencing the prequels for the first time and are actually enjoying them unlike bitter Star Wars fans

I’m not watching the uncut, I like to see the edited versions of the movies, so I don’t know the overall likes/dislikes, but since I am a person who has seen almost every SW movie in the theaters on their first run (yes, I am old)... I’m glad to see people enjoying the prequels. It’s hard for me, especially PM, because it’s so jarringly different from the OG ones and Lucas wasn’t being reigned in at all. Too many bad jokes. BUT as much as I “ugh” about the prequels, I still love lots of things about them. I really adore the kid who plays Anakin in the first movie. He has a tenderness and general real frankness, like a kid his age, that a LOT of jerks hated him for. I still can’t forgive the hateful “fans” for the way they treated a literal 9-10 year old child. The fight scene with Darth Maul is one of the best in the entire series. Ewan MacGregor is so so good in every one of the movies. And after watching The Clone Wars series, a lot of this stuff makes a lot more sense. Looking forward to the edited version! Though, with my extreme boredom during this quarantine, I’m tempted to turn on Disney+ and watch PM along with this video. :)

During Phantom Menace Palatine wasn't actually the sith lord. He was the apprentice to Darth Plaegus, but was able to train Maul because he convinced Plaegus that Maul was just an assassin. Also, you can see him hesitate before he kills Qui-Gon, during that pause he was acknowledging that he couldn't beat him in a fair fight and that he would have to use a cheap move to win, something he hated. Maul respected Qui-Gon as a warrior
