Can you guys double drop the last 2 episodes so you get closer to season 7 and can watch live with us! Its airing on MAY 20

Adam is Magic

I think they should do a double drop on every episode of season 6 instead for both patreon and youtube.

Next Mondays ep tho

Well guys, welcome to most complex episode in the entire season (possibly the entire series). This one will take a while to parse out. All of which will be Octavia. So, Octavia has officially gone off the deep end. However, it isn't all her fault. The lack of support and attempts to understand her position from those she cares about are a bit at fault here as well. Especially SpaceKru, namely Monty and Bellamy. Monty never once took to heart what Octavia said about "The ghosts can have this place" and what that really meant. I guarantee you that if he hadn't interrupted the pits and threatened her position of power with the apple blossoms, she would not have burned the farm. Additionally, Bellamy never once took the time to understand exactly what happened to her and meet her halfway. If he had done that I don't think things would have escalated the way they did. Chris is right, she has become a dictator, however I don't see it as a "I want power so no else can have it" kind of dictator like a Kim Jong-un. I see Blodreina as a safety net for Octavia, who is ultimately very afraid of failure and afraid that the sacrifices she made (more on that next week) will all be for naught. She feels extremely guilty and she knows that she is marching them to their deaths because her plan is to die. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the scenes with Bellamy (11:46) and with the mirror (13:59). Her story with the lillypads game is meant to show the example that Bellamy set for her growing up, that you sacrifice "all of me for all of us" or "Omon Gon Osun". _If you paid attention in the those two scenes, Octavia cuts herself in the exact same location that Bellamy cut himself to protect her when she was kid. She is giving of herself to protect everyone. So in that sense, her upbringing did contribute to this situation, just not only with mythology._ This is the core of Blodreina and Octavia on her to get her through these horrible times. She is ultimately a very broken person and this episode does an absolutely amazing job of showing that she isn't necessarily far gone, but that she is so lost in her feelings of guilt and self-loathing that she cannot function as herself anymore. It's really heartbreaking and amazingly well acted. So, with all that in mind, I do think it is entirely understandable why she burned the farm. Yes, it was selfish and entirely driven by her desire to hold onto power, but she's not driven to hold power for power's sake. On to Vinson and Abby. I still can't really elaborate here, but I just love their dynamic and Vinson is an incredibly well realized character and I love everything about him. This reveal of him being a cannibal was phenomenal and only made his character better overall. Anyway, enjoy next week's episode, though I know you've already seen it now, and we'll see you next week for the big reveal!!!!

IKR!! The only gripe I have with Season 5 is that they should have put the Dark Year before this episode. I get why they didn't though as the reveals here and the actions taken really give a ton of insight into Octavia's mental state and help to shed light on her decisions in the next episode.

i can get not liking Octavia, but Nahid isn't even acknowledging that she's a product of her upbringing at all thank you Chris and Marketa

I was cackling at the couch's bafflement when Octavia burns the farm. That shit was hilarious 🤣🤣❤👏

I actually agree with Nahid, I don't think it was trauma of her upbringing but the trauma of her adulthood, specifically her time in the bunker. Bloodreina is not "We're Back Bitches!" Octavia

Could you guys react to The 100 bloopers, please! This vid has a good amount of them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z34iGnfHtLo

Also, at this rate, watching an episode a week, you guys would finish season 6 by early July, but new season is premiering May 20, which means you'd be about 7 episodes behind by then and wouldn't be able to catch up by time the last episode airs. BUT if you guys started doubling up starting next week, you'd be finished by May 11, a week before season 7 premieres. I know you guys are busy and have a bunch of other shows to watch, but it'd be awesome to watch the show live with you guys, so maybe consider doubling up if you can. Love the reactions, either way!

I don't like how Nahid says that he would kill his sister so easily if he were Belamy. I have an older sister and she is my bestfriend. If after 6 years of not seeing my sister I find out she is a murderous dictator it would be very difficult for me to accept that. A decision to kill my sister would be so hard for me to make. Now in Belamy's case he is not only her brother he is her big brother, who protected her, raised her when she was a child. He's like a parent to Octavia. So I completely understand why he can't just bring himself to kill her even after all she has done. It's not an easy situation. However. it is easy to be an outsider looking in and just say, "I would kill her." In my opinion you can never put yourself in someone elses shoes and say what they should of done, because it is literally impossible to be someone else and experience all they have gone through that dictates the decisions they make. Anyways that's my 2 cents lol

Blake

i love Nahid but i'm getting a little tired of all negativity throughout the 100 vids lately. and him constantly saying he would murder his sister was very unsettling to listen to

SpeedyCat19

I feel like if Nahid was really in Bellamy's position in real life, there's no way it'd be so easy for him to kill his sister

Dean Li

You have to understand that in Octavia's mind, getting the valley is the delivrance and goal of all those 6 years in the bunker. With the algae farm flourishing, that means staying in the bunker and she doesn't want that anymore. The reason as well will be revealed in the next episode, ''The Dark Year''

Alyssa S Allan

Octavia has never been a leader. She is a warrior who is willing to do the hard thing for all "her" people by using force, but overtime has shown a lack of discernment for what is actually the greater good. She's put "proving" that her actions have validation over the saftey of all. Explanation is coming but we can already see here that this is learned behavior that was developed from trauma.

Norrin Radd

This season is LITERALLY a facepalm turned into a TV show. Still love it. Best, frustrating characters on TV.

Ricardo

So, the name that Becca was screaming at that flashback was "Cadogan", the leader of the Second Dawn group that we saw in season 04. He was leading those people, likely the survivors of Praimfaya I (that probably stayed at the bunker that Octavia and Wonkru were), and apparently decided to kill Becca after she said the Nightblood was the solution (probably injected in some people before she was killed, and that explain why some of them, not all, are born with the black blood).

In season six octavia will definitely explain why she burnt the farm and it’ll make more sense then. But yeah this episode was full of a lot of emotions and anger.

What’s up with all the Nahid haters man... dudes allowed to feel any type of way....

Guys, lay off Nahid, he's entitled to his opinion & I agree with him. He wouldn't ACTUALLY kill his sister lol it's a hypothetical, and I'm assuming she'd be Girl Hitler in that scenario. You love your sibling as they are now, but if they became evil you really don't know what you'd be capable of. I hope I'd be strong enough to do what needs to be done for the greater good. He's also allowed to call this show out for being stupid during it's legit stupid moments, we all know they exist, let's not pretend The Hundo is perfect. He loves it overall lol cut him some slack.

thenormies

Thank you soo much! This comment is perfect and the words right out of my mouth. I really do love this show. This show just hit one of my top spots after watching the season 5 finale! I am wowed by what I saw and am super stoked for season 6!! - Nahid

please do a double upload for the finale

She's literally only punished people who commit crimes.. Her brother poisoned her, and Indra and Gaia went behind their back to overrule them. You do that to anyone in charge politcally you're gonna get fucked. Like get outta here with that lmao

Afif Majid

I understand that she might feel the need to prove to herself that everything she did wasn't in vain and she can't live in the bunker herself, but forcing everyone to her path when they clearly have other preferences is beyond tyrannical. Honestly I've never bought her desperation to hang onto her power at all costs this season, she put her ego and validation over actual lives of people who idolize her, but I guess that's what happens when you live in a bubble, or in this case under the floor
