I love you guys ❤

Okay, I'm skipping the intro from now on. I need my ears in the future.

Ok but Bellamy said it himself "Mama bears don't think, they just protect their young." Homeboy should have remembered that Clarke always finds a way...

I´m sad, you started to ignore all Bellamy and Clarke scenes :( I completely agree with you, this episode was tough and so frustrating. I remember when I watched it how I wanted to punch something. Clarke is acting so irrational at this moment. I completely get that feeling that it is hard to root for someone. Everyone is betraying everybody and changing sides every minute. Bellamy wanted to save everyone and Clarke just leave him to die like that without a blinking eye.

I was very frustrated also with some of the characters choices, especially Clarke. However, I think that’s what the writers want you to feel is frustrated. Because in real life people make frustrating irrational decisions. Clarke is making her choices to save Maddie, she sees herself as Maddies mother. And parents in general make irrational decisions when it comes to the safety of their kids. The reason they don’t stop and take a minute to think and talk is because the more time they waste others are planning for their downfall. I think the show does a great job of making the viewer not know who they should be rooting for. At this point of the show I was also just along for the ride lol

Please do a the 100 skit!!

Also, I get the frustration with all the characters, and it will only get more frustrating for the rest of the season (like really frustrating lol) but just stick with it and power through to season 6, which is in my opinion, the best season since season 2.

It's morally great to be team Monty, but McCreary is now coming to kill them all so the farm will be fucked regardless of who fucks it up

14:17, yeah Nahid that's why I didn't care for this season, I found it one of the weakest of all 6. Imo it's basically just the crew betraying a new person every episode, lots of posturing, and no real story, just the continued talk of war. And I feel like Clarke didn't betray Bellamy, she told them flat out Maddie was her priority and Bellamy definitely went around her and manipulated the situation based on his own opinion. I can't wait for the finale and Season 6, S6 may be my favorite.

Dani

I think season 5 has some great storylines (Dyoza and Maddie/Lexa are my favorite) but it’s also between two of the best seasons 4 and 6 so I think that has more to do with it. Season 7 is coming out May 20th! Also, please do a skit!

I understand why Clarke is acting irrationally Madi who she views as her daughter is her priority. Bellamy essentially said I have to do what I can to protect my family: Raven etc. and was willing to put Clarke's daughter in danger for that. I mean placing a 12 year old girl in the middle of a war and against some one who is obviously drunk on power is definitely putting Madi's life in danger. Simply put most parents will do ANYTHING to protect their child. She's wrong yes but her actions make sense in terms of a mother figure to me.

Indra and Kane's friendship doesn't get enough praise and together they could accomplish more than Abby has in the past two seasons or so.

I thought & felt the thing when watched this episode! No parent would allow such situation to play out that might endanger their child in a power struggle just to possibly save world! What Clarke did to her friends is still messed up, but they also betrayed her by endangering her child!

Clarke think of Maddie as her own child. No parent would allow such situation to play out that might endanger their child in a power struggle just to possibly save world! What Clarke did to her friends is still messed up, but they also betrayed her by endangering her child!

The Flame and ALIE are two entirely different things. The Flame is the revision of ALIE, it doesn't have anything to do with the City of Light. Oh the episode that sent the entire fandom into a frenzy. This was one rough back when it aired. I'll just say this, it's important to remember everyone's goals in all of this. 6 years on, Clarke's only concern is Madi's safety. Add in that Bellamy promised to not put her in danger and then went back on that promise the second Clarke was in any kind of danger, and you can see why Clarke did what she did. It isn't her flip-flopping, it's Clarke doing what she needs to do to accomplish her goal, keeping Madi alive. This is also why she killed the guy from Sangedakru that Madi had won over, because one ally is not going to help keep her safe, and staying to try and rally an opposing would put Madi in even more danger. That does not mean that she won't make mistakes, but it does give her actions a very clear motivation. For Bellamy, his actions are also motivated by what he is trying to do. What he did was absolutely scummy, Pat's right, he manipulated Madi to do what he wanted instead of thinking about what is best for her (ie what Clarke asked him to do). He essentially forced her to take the chip when he invoked the Clarke card to try and save his own ass as well get Clarke out, so Clarke is entirely justified in leaving him to die. As she said, he made his choice. As for Octavia, she is in a very difficult situation. She has committed to getting to the valley, but she has also ruled through fear to do it. This means that she cannot show any sign of weakness because her hold on the bunker is so tenuous that a single sliver of weakness would be enough for it all come crashing down. She's scared, and it's this trap that she is in that makes her send Bellamy, Indra, and Gaia to the pits. She does not want to do that, but the society she has created and the character she is playing mandate that she must stay firm here. Not to mention the immense psychological toll that the whole ordeal placed on her. Indra was right to take blame for what O has become, she ran from the difficult things they needed to do to survive and forced Octavia to handle it all herself. This whole season is ultimately a testament to how much our ideas of who people are can color our approaches to how we should handle our interactions with them. Clarke and Madi idolized Clarke's friends. Bellamy idolized Clarke and saw Octavia as his little sister. Octavia grew up and expected her brother to treat her like an adult. It's all about how our expectations lead us down the wrong path and create conflict, and it's very very real. Chris has the right of it, in this season, everyone is both the hero and the villain. Anyway guys great reaction and I cannot wait for next week. How many double drops are we getting now that the new season has a confirmed release date of May 20th? You said you wanted to catch up right?

People tend to forget that Clarke has spent a lot more time around Maddie than she has everyone else. She was on the ground for around 200 days prior to Praimfaya and was separated from the rest of the group for about 3 months after season 2. So in all actuality she was around everyone else for around a total of 4 months. She lived with Maddie for almost 6 years. Her choosing Maddie over the rest of the group isn't just about their mother daughter bond. Even without that she would have been much closer to her just based on the amount of time they spent together.

Don't Know If You Guys Know Or Not, But William Miller (McCreary) & Eliza Taylor Dated For A Lil While In Season 5.

Agree! Season 5 was heavily criticized but writers took it and did season 6 completely different and it worked. For me this part of season 5 from 5x09 is probably the weakest part of the entire show.

I enjoy the commentary for The 100 so much I stopped at season six and decided to watch and wait with you guys it’s fucking hilarious

Honestly, I can't wait to see your reactions to the season finale.
