Whoever wrote this description needs their SHIELD badge revoked for saying Fitz and Simmons instead of Fitzsimmoms😂

In each season there are these downer episodes in between the good ones, like 1x12, 5x3, 4x4, 3x18 etc. And I really thought I wouldnt enjoy the normies watching season 6 until episode 3, but damn I have really enjoyed both the reaction to episode and number 1. Im enjoying them watching season 6 a lot more then I thought I would, and I actually think they are going to really like this season (suprisingly since many fans didnt like it, so logic dictates the normies wouldnt either). And I realize now that the whole Coulson/Sarge mystery is really well done, and if you just let the show tell you its story and not come into it with a lot of predetermited notions (which is why I thnik the trailer with the sarge reveal kinda hurt the experience of us watching it live, though that trailer is really dope) then it is really good. There are enough clues and red herrings, but in the end its both suprising yet makes total sense. And I think credit should be given for managing to do such a hard task.

Even though I wasn't initially a big fan of season 6, I realized what makes the show as a whole so good. By focusing on the character development so much Shield has been able to reinvent its settings and almost entire identity just as long as the central characters are there to ground things. It feels almost like some animes in a sense where there may be some episodes that feel like filler or arcs you're not a fan of, but you enjoy seeing the characters in different situations nonetheless.

controversial opinion: i liked season 6 more than season 5

Can’t wait for episode 6 of this season.

While ultimately I enjoyed Season 6, I do think it's a small drop in quality from 4/5. They tried to do a mystery box with Coulson and the main plot, which led to characters not talking only because the plot demanded it. But as always with SHIELD, the focus on the characters and some stand out episodes keep the season very entertaining.

Season 6 like a dragon ball z movie to me. The story may not be as entertaining put the characters are having fun and have interesting arcs. It’s also like a part 1 and season 7 is the part 2

Season 6 felt like Agents of SHIELD: The Movie. That's not necessarily a bad thing. and it has individually some of the show's best episodes, but it overall definitely wasn't anywhere near as good as Seasons 4 or 5. The villain introduced halfway through the season just wasn't as cool/interesting/intimidating as past villains (maybe they were introduced too late?), and the conclusion just wasn't that exciting. Still very good TV and I am beyond excited for the final season.

Paul Murphy

they could react to Agent Carter while they wait for S7.

It does help mix in some lighter moments like we haven't seen since season 1.

Nice parallels to the dead Fitz - who found Xandarian snails disgusting, too. (Sitting at dinner with Kasius, pretending to be a badass marauder.)
