Zenitsu (yellow outfit) is definitely a loud character and my first reaction of him was exactly like yalls lol but im so excited for the rest of these episodes because i feel like it really picks up from here!

Yeah but most of us probably watch all the openings of these shows when we first watched them. I watched all the openings of shows and some shows have really bad spoilers like One Piece. That show openings spoiled alot, but we all watched them.

People don't really think about it much, but the structure of a meal is very culturally idiosyncratic. In the West, there would almost never be a case where a serving of rice would subordinate say, a cut of meat in a meal. We would treat the meat as the principal element and the rice as a side dish. In Japan, the reason why you almost always have rice with any meal is because the rice IS the meal. In fact, in Japanese, the word for "cooked rice" is "Gohan" (ご飯) which also literally means "meal". Say you got a lunch set with some fried pork, a bowl of soup, a salad, and a serving of rice. In the US, it would be "Fried Pork Cutlet" with three sides. In Japan, while they might call it the same thing (although probably not), the rice is actually the headliner and all other elements of that lunch set are sides to the rice. In a rice bowl, similarly, whatever is put on top of the rice, no matter how lavish, is still just a topping for the rice which is the actual meal. And there are many other examples. Probably most Japanese would not split that hair at the drop of a hat just because it doesn't matter that much in day-to-day life, but it does explain the historical importance of rice in Japan a bit. Kind of a funny little difference culturally that doesn't really occur to you.

Man, they cut out all the faces of people being disgusted with Zenitsu, that’s like one of my favorite parts of this episode.
