Anyone know which of the Normies had recieved that bad news from home? It was for the Re:Zero reaction.

Kris

So now we can tell you. The SHIELD writers were told a few things about how Endgame played out but ABC couldn't commit to when Season 6 would premiere. So they sidestepped The Snap completely in case their premiere was prior to the Endgame release. The position of the showrunners in articles was, "We'll have to let the Time Lords in the audience figure out how this works." (Of course, there's always hope Season 7 will throw in something to retroactively make sense.)

Just forget about Thanos and the Snap at this point, the MCU producers stopped sharing information with Marvel TV like back after the Ultron helicarrier crossover, probably because Whedon could no longer share information with his brother. For Infinity War they could kind of write around it with vague references to New York and Thanos. But this season aired after Endgame, and takes place roughly 1 year after the Infinity War invasion as a way to distance themselves from the snap... But there was no way for AOS' writers to predict and write there way around the fact that it would take the Avengers 5 years to solve the snap problem and that people would be missing for that entire 5 year period.

Kai

This season the writers pretty much ditched all notions of the show being connected to the other parts of the MCU and just decided to let it be its own thing. That's why there are no Thanos or snap/blip references.

26:37 aww poor Suraj lol. But I laughed so loud when Pat said "Hey I predict a lot" and Chris replied "You do predict a lot, but you're often wrong, because every other word out of your mouth is Ward" hahahah

db

Pat predicts more than just Ward showing up. He also predicts that everyone is about to die.

The writers said this season is like a half season because everything isn’t going to be wrapped up just like if it was a part of the first half of a regular season so think of it like that. Instead of 10 then a small break episodes it’s 13 and a year break for us.

Joe

Give up on Thanos guys. The movies don't acknowledge the shows existence anymore.

Rahsaan

I'm going to spread my legs all week in support of Pat.

Heads up, the middle of the season is can’t miss! Some people don’t like hyping up individual episodes so not gonna say which one. The end is good too but the middle has a possible series best here, in my opinion. Also, here’s what one of the showrunners looks like, no reason. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maurissa_Tancharoen

Yeah so they did the natural thing of just disregarding the Snap, which in my opinion has always been for the best of the show. The one season that had the minimum of interference from the MCU, season 4, was the best one. Was chased off the AoS subreddit for that opinion though with people being upset at no mention of Thanos and so many threads calling it bullshit. Snap brings out weird shit in people.

I loved season 6

You can kind of rationalize not dealing with the snap by saying that they are now in an alternate dimension because of the time change. Because Endgame confirms that changing the future branches you off into a different timeline. Soo.... it works enough for me. haha

Nudeldifudel

Anyone else a lot more hyped for season 6 then they thought they would be?

Anonymous

Yep me lol. I still prefer season 4 and 5, but watching their reaction to this episode really made me way more excited to see what they're gonna think of the rest of the season.

Tyler

What is it with this group that they need everything spelt out for them in big bold letters for sixty minutes. Coulson is dead.

Christopher simeon

Hey it’s alright for them to speculate. We weren’t 100% sure what was going on when we watched the first time either.

Kris

I think Rana gets more love with her prediction because we could tell she was a Stan from season 1😂 when some people were still iffy on the show she was the oldest showing love. You all love the show now but Rana is the “The Real Deal” ;) lol

They just have different moral standards and aren't willing to just toss other lives aside for their own wants and desires. If someone screws over close friends or family members in favor of their significant other, then that person would no longer have friends or family. Davis, Piper and Daisy are all there for Simmons and to find fitz because they care about them and with her actions in this one moment, Simmons declared that their lives are meaningless in the pursuit of her own desires

I cant find the other episodes of season 5

Namelessnonnie

by that analogy chris your saying you'd be mad if your friend drove to miami to save their significant other. shit. lol. To be fair the lead was fresh, and she knew that waiting to refuel would be losing a lead which would inevitably mean that they would reach a dead end. You can understand someones desperation and not be okay with it.

The Writers did kind of sidestep the snap but in a very clever way though imo. They were asked that question about Thanos at a panel and said that Season 6 is before the 5 year gap and before the Snap. It makes perfect sense to me even after the Thanos name drop. I still think it’s pretty connected because of things that happened in Season 5 and Infinity War, but I can’t say how and why (at least IMO) until the end of the season, but all will be revealed and hopefully make sense.

Naw, they tried. They referenced the attack on New York at the beginning of Infinity War. The Snap happened hours later(a day max). No way season 6 is before the Snap.
