What's going on everyone thanks for your patience! I hope you enjoy this month's double drop of The Hundo a bit early. We figured these two episodes would make a good 1-2 punch for the premiere rather than 5x2 + 5x3. We haven't sat to watch 5x3 yet so no spoilers please!

How are they baffled that a society that evolved to the point of a space station with self sustaining oxygen/food/water may have had other space exploration ventures besides just sitting in orbit?

Eden Nahid, all your questions will be answered in 10 minutes. There are very good reasons for the pits in the bunker. Eliza deserved to have some award talk for that survival sequence in the beginning. She was absolutely awesome. Acting against no one is hard enough, but when it's half of the entire episode, it gets even harder. On the Murphy stuff, it makes sense from a writing standpoint, but it also really makes sense from a character standpoint as well. Murphy is a survivor, he doesn't do well when there isn't anything to do. For all of his seeming self-centered, he loves being a hero, and not getting to do that for 6 years would absolutely mess him up. Red Queen For all of his faults, Jaha was probably the best leader in the entire show. He understood exactly what it took to be a leader in a life or death, survival situation. And that line about his not regretting floating Aurora is the epitome of his character, because at the end of the day he was right. Additionally, O needed to learn that lesson. Think back to season 2 when she found out that Clarke knew about the missile attack and told no one, back then she was furious but I guarantee you that Bunker Octavia (I won't use her actual name because it hasn't been stated yet) would 100% of the time have chosen to tell no one about the missile because she understands what it takes. In this episode, I agree with everything that she did. She did exactly what she had to do at the time. The pits are also a great criminal justice system as it encourages obedience and ensures that the people stay strong. Also helps with the population. It was a stroke of genius. I won't comment on anything else because I would end up spoiling everything. Suffice to say that Octavia is the best character on the entire show, and this season has to do with why I say that. Enjoy the ride ya'll and we'll see you next week.

I'm really interested to see Clarke's future decisions again after hearing the voice over speech in episode 1. I don't remember alot from this season, but I was bewildered by that one thing she does to somebody. After hearing her talk about kill or be killed, etc, I wonder if I'll understand it more this time around.
