I would think Mages are more powerful at magic and Witchers are better at swords. Apples and oranges I suppose but mages probably have more potential power and abilities than Witchers perhaps.

Witchers don't do magic, they only use a couple of simple Signs that is the equivalent of playing with a BB pistol while the Mages use the whole real arsenal. Mages don't consider using those Signs as doing real magic.

Yennifer's time line goes back the furthest in time. Geralt's is also being told back in time, and Ciri's is the "present". Don't assume they are on the same time line unless you see them together. Essentially decades have already passed since you first saw Yennifer undergo her transformation. This is kind of evident when you see Yennifer at the ball in the previous episode with a very young Foltest... who is then in his 40's (?) when he meets Geralt the first time in the striga part. Witchers and mages age very slowly and live for hundreds of years.

Ya'll should definitely play the Witcher 3 on your gaming channel, it's honestly one of the best games I've ever played.

So just a bit of knowledge that i dont consider spoilers except to the games, in this show geralt makes the wish and only he knows at the start, in the books yen hears geralts wish so she and geralt know but we the audience are never told, and in the games which take place long after the books the game creators took the liberty of deciding thats geralts wish was for him and yen to be linked together forever which i like as head cannon but the real wish has never been said by the actual author
