As a manga reader, let me tell you this season is going to lit. Two of the best arc of MHA is going to be adapted.

Jay Gill

I can’t wait for them to catch up this Saturday gonna be the greatest deku moment yet infinite 100%

Kurumi

I always find it so weird how dub use different words to make a situation “less impactful” lol Mirio said he was gonna get violent nah more like going straight for the kill 😂😂

Meh Hero Academia!

The Ultimate Ed

I'm resisting the urge to spoil everything that'll happen in this arc.

"Mirio would've walked away" Bruh.

The Ultimate Ed

I am ashamed to say that I would've probably let Eri go. Because my first thought in the scene was "listen to Mirio, Deku". But honestly, even without knowledge of the situation, Deku should've taken her away.

Next week is going to be dope. See my boy Red Riot in action and get introduced to my favorite quirk to date.

Good fucking job. Just go ahead and use the title which is possibly one of the biggest spoilers of this series put into a title. I hate when people either don't care or think it through enough and spoil others. Anyone could easily tell what the meaning of "Infinite 100%" would apply to.

He would have walked away. If Deku wasn't there he would have walked away for the sake of the plan. He regrets it later but it wouldn't have changed his decision. Deku made the right decision ultimately while Mirio valued simply following the rules more. Just because he "makes up" for that later in the season doesn't change the fact that he was fully going to let Eri go back to him without even thinking it through or struggling/debating in his mind like Deku did.

I like this situation because I can understand both sides and it does illustrate the difference between All Might’s approach and Nighteye’s approach without really condemning either being the wrong one. I get Deku needs to control his urge to save people and think things through more, but here I can understand how leaving a little girl clinging to him and begging him not to go would make it harder to be objective. He brought up a good point that heroes ignoring a little girl who is obviously troubled so easily looks really suspicious.

One of my favorite aspects of this series is the relationship between All Might and Midoriya. They really have helped each other grow as people. In that fight with All for One you could tell how All Might was so focused on the past until All for One mentioned Midoriya. That changed the whole atmosphere for All Might and suddenly his whole reason for fighting AFO was for Midoriya’s sake and his desire to see his journey through. That kid has really become a anchor for All Might. I was happy to hear him tell Midoriya just how important he is to him.

So, regarding Oedipus *puts on pretentious horn-rimmed glasses* the idea of fate is even more doubled down on than what was discussed. It was actually King Laius, his father, who was originally given the prophecy/curse (by the by, this was as punishment for getting freaky with the son of another king he was tutoring - Greece was lit as fuck). He then ordered the death of infant Oedipus to save himself, and through some shenanigans, this resulted in the kid living as the secretly adopted son of another king and queen. THEN when oedipus gets the same prophecy, he leaves town to save his adopted parents, thinking the fate was referring to them. And then everything else happened. To borrow from Kung Fu Panda, the lesson is basically “One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it.” This adds nothing to the discussion, btw, I just like reminding people how fucking insane classic lit is. Tune in next week for Titus Andronicus, or: Shakespeare on Bath Salts.

Seeing this episode again after the most recent one that released is killing me

Alex

The Greeks loved that "trying to defy fate actually makes it happen" shit

Michael Diaz

Ikr? Like just binge the next few episodes til caught up and boom. They can watch it one week at a time like they usually do but like... with the rest of us. lol

I’ll say, if Eri’s Quirk was to explode people, then Deku should’ve been a bunny piñata my guy. 😂
