Happy Suraj is back

Joe

A little disappointed that no one recognised the name Teach, but expected. Most people don't know much about Blackbeard.

Joe

Lol no. Jack isn't running shit. He's not strong enough for that. His strengths lie elsewhere. Come on now :)

Joe

Okay now what the fuck? You talked over Flint's speech. Unforgivable. You smell ;)

The big dude in S1 was Vane's slave owner

Once again, Micky is the first to name him. Not only is the legend that is Teach super exciting to see in one of my favorite shows of all time, but he is portrayed by one of my favorite actors: Ray Stevenson! Season 3, LET'S GO! Meanwhile, it's nice to have Suraj back in the reaction.

No one recognized the name Teach :(

To be honest I didn’t recognize the name Edward Teach until a few episodes later 🤷🏾‍♂️

Jack's problem is that no one fears him. Men would never take money from Vane or Flint and then refuse to do the job they were hired for. They don't fear retaliation from Jack. Also, welcome to Nassau, Blackbeard (the real one this time).

Lee

I hope you guys recognize the guy playing Woodes Rogers (a famous real life privateer btw).

I think even if they pay the slaves for repairing the fort which is probably what's gonna happen they still would have to force them to work for a while. Because I imagine if they freed them before the job was finished many would/could refuse and just wanna go home immediately or decide to become pirates. It would also still be shitty because they can't even be sure that they are gonna be freed after the work is done. And yes a lot of the pirates on the island were slaves but they chose to stay, nobody forced them to even for a short time.
