Yesssss!!

HybridThizzle

happy new DECADE! Hopefully this one sees progress!

Bubble Girl is a fan design the character and costume. Also the show has used sexyness plenty before your just focusing on it and complaining. Mt. Lady and Midnight both have sexy outfits and have had sexy scenes. Yall just tripping on this.

Norrin Radd

Where’s the double drop you promised?!

Cap_Crunch

Togata is just an amazing person, and honestly is in my top 3 favorite characters. Don’t come for me, but I can definitely see why he would have been in the running for All Mights power.

kinky28

Ok im just gonna ask wtf is on ranas nose XD

Mats Erik

Bubblegirl looks like that in the manga too actually.

yooin

Who else sad after the most recent episode...

Jay Gill

I like season 4 it’s a darker season and introduce and develops new characters which is important to build great anime

Anonymous

Bubble Girl design comes from the winner of a hero design contest for fans so that's why it is an odd design .

Anonymous

Geez they’re never gonna drop the bubble girl thing lmao

yooin

THEY MISSED THE END CREDITS SCENE ARE U KIDDING ME!!

yooin

Someone please tell the normies there are tons of end credit scenes this season, and they missed one of the most important ones!!

Blackfeet808

I’m with Mickey, it makes sense that there was staff changes, because this season definitely feels different

Blackfeet808

If u kept watching, you’ll see that they caught the ending credit scene

Jason Williams

How in the world did they manage to miss the after credits scene for that long after actually looking for it? That was hilarious

Jjop017

From what I gathered from watching them Amazon Prime automatically skipped to the next episode every time it got to the end. Micky kept going back and it kept doing the same thing until he got it right.

Jjop017

I think that might be how the story is playing out as oppose to the anime studio. I know this arc in the manga split people on how it did things as well. The pacing issues Micky was talking about are probably from the manga. This is the longest arc in MHA in general. It is almost twice the length of the previous longest arc up to this point I believe. Even though the studio is still adapting between 2-3 chapters an episode it may have just been unavoidable for the pacing differences. The setting does shift in this arc as well, which also gives everything a different feeling.

Bubble Girl (blue girl) is designed by a fan who was the winner of the Hero Design contest. So Horikoshi (Creator) didn't make her.

Hunter

Bubble Girl is a character design submitted by a fan for a contest. Horikoshi liked the concept and actually added her to the manga.

Jjop017

They did do double drops for some shows last week. I don’t think MHA will have one any time soon though. The Normies like the dub and want to continue it. Funimation is now a week behind Japan. They may want to keep doing one episode drops for MHA just in case the dub falls further behind.

L

I figure someone has definitely already said this but Bubble Girl is mainly based off a fan design that won a contest for putting a character they designed themselves into the story of MHA. So if you wonder why she is so damn sexy and has minimal clothing it is because a fan made it. I don't know exactly what conditions made it win over others but Horikoshi (the author) also had to figure out a decent way to put the character in the story at some point so he probably mainly used the tickling scene more so as a way to be funny and sort of even things out since Nighteye is really serious while also actually showing that Nighteye is really serious BUT he really thinks being funny and having an upbeat attitude is very important just like All Might always is. Hope anyone that reads this understands what I am saying lol. Also I do understand that the tickling scene really does seem different and is messed up in a way but the culture over in Japan is different and they may not necessarily see it the way a lot of other people would in other cultures like harrassment or something....

oswaldo hipolito

i completely agree with this season flowing differently, also the ost in the episodes are incredible amazing composition choices

AnEnthusiasticKoala

The normies once again participating in cultural imperialism, trying to push western values and standards on entertainment from the other side of the globe.

Rashad T

Remember the anime is adapting the manga. A change in director doesn't change the story. The Overhaul arc doesn't focus on Class 1-A. However a number of other characters will get the chance to shine. The world opens up a lot more.

Norrin Radd

He should have just been All Might’s successor, he should’ve been the main character of this show. Deku’s never gonna happen. Mirio is truth.

SeymourAsces

I just want them to see episode 9, it'll make them grow hair on their chests.

Michael Diaz

Idk if the jumping around thing vs not jumping around dialogue has to do with any changes. Cuz I'm pretty sure it's the same as in the manga. Maybe in terms of making the episodes shorter feeling and not pausing in between stuff to pad out the episode might be an effect?

Shockzz1234

A new director doesn't change the story, but boy does it change how the anime feels still. There's a reason S4 so far feels worse than S1-3, and the change in director is part of it (well the main reason is that they have to send all their best people to work on the shitty cash grab movie instead of the series, but that's a whole other discussion).

Shockzz1234

So, Bones sent their best directors and animators to work on the stupid movie that no one cares about (compared to the main series) so now the first half of this season has been stuck with essentially Bones' B-Team which is why it all feels "off". Which is why you should never do seasons and movies at the same time, but money money money. Hopefully the 2nd half of the season is much stronger since the movie's production is over now.

Rashad T

A lot of Bones animators worked on Fire Force last year too, Don't forget Bones also did Carole and Tuesday, Mob Psycho II on top of the second film and Season 4.

Liam D

For the Mirio discussion not everyone is striving towards being #1, i mean i'm sure they'd all love to but remember most of them have reasons for wanting to be #1, such as deku wanting to be a symbol of peace. Mirio's just a good guy and his ambitions about being a hero will be revealed soon enough. I don't think most of UA is worried about competition except for like Bakugo and Monoma for 1b.

Karthig

I think the paper technique didnt work because the condtions were already met when he touched midoriya's face and locked eyes at the beginning. After that even the paper throwing becomes a move that nighteye can see.

Antoine Cooper

I don't understand the pacing concerns when you guys are only on the third episode of this season. Didn't like that the first episode was a filler episode? Okay, I get it. The first eps of the other seasons were generally recaps. So I guess it comes down to whether you like recaps more than fillers. The 2nd and 3rd eps were typical MHA imo. Now if you guys were caught up and questioning the pacing, that'll be a little different. In either case, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Erik Nilsson

The pacing is slightly affected by there being a lot of new characters introduced, The big 3, nighteye and the other pro heroes are essentially new and it takes some time to get things going. Season 2 and 3 could jump straight into the action with no issues. That said I don't have any issues with S4 pacing myself.

The Ultimate Ed

I'm a little disappointed Deku never figured out a way to get the stamp. But oh well.

Blu3rice

Yeah I understand people saying Bubble Girl’s design wasn’t made by Horikoshi, but I still believe it’s something he would design. Look at Momo’s hero costume for instance, yes it’s revealing but it’s also functional for her quirk. Same will go for Bubble girl and her quirk too.

Temporal

Bubble Girl was actually made by a fan who won a competition. Horikoshi’s liked her design of the character and made it work into his series. So the fact that a girl made this design and was okay with it says something. Also, I love all the controversy that scene stirred, when just 10 minutes prior Overhaul freakin’ blew up a Magne (a trans woman). Not justifying what Nighteye did, but taking a human life isn’t something to overlook either.

Temporal

So Nighteye. Is Badass hands down. You can see why All Might had him as his former sidekick. Brings the brains of the duo, taking down any villain 1v1 and knowing their every move for the duration of a short fight while All Might landed some punches, it would have made for easy wins!

shortney

Dubs are on funimation! Also, they do cover the new hero rankings in the manga two arcs from now. They might end this season with it, or begin with it next season. You could probably look it up online and it wouldn't spoil anything. The pacing also slowed down a bit in the manga, so the anime is pretty on point with that.

John

The dub is very annoying with its direct wordplay just switch to sub, like when he was stamping the contract " I'm not gonna stamp it" When that's not what he said for sub
