Hey fellow normies Patreons! When do you think they should watch a specific flashback episodes that aired in shippuden? (Episode 119-120 in Shippuden) Was thinking about it cause that flashback was shown at the end of the manga before the timeskip began. Is it alright to watch those episodes before shippuden or do they spoil too much with titles and stuff?

It doesn't spoil anything. What was shown in episodes 119 and 120 were exactly what was given to us in the manga before the timeskip began. So its all good :) It's highly recommended that they watch it before episode 1 of Naruto.

Even though the manga showed it much earlier, I think they should stick with it how was it in the anime. The anime delayed it on purpose to keep a certain character's identity hidden, since the anime only watchers wouldn't catch on as a result.

It does & it doesn't. I'm not gonna get into specifics, because they read the comments, but the reason the anime delayed the gaiden episodes was to hide the identity of a certain masked character. It was given to us in the manga after the Retrieval Arc & before Shippuden, so we theorized a lot on who that character was & most of us ended up being right. In order to keep anime-only watchers surprised, they pushed it, and it worked because they believed the masked character to be exactly who he claimed to be. I think maybe for this sake the Normies should watch it the way the anime intended

The reason why the nine tails' name is such a spoiler is because of how far ahead its revealed. You know something that you shouldnt, for like 400 more episodes.

I guess but i too had the nine tails name spoiled when the manga was still coming out and I remember exact reaction to it. "OK..." It literally meant nothing. Its like saying to someone that is reading chapter 1 of Dragonball Goku's father's name is Bardock. Out of context that name means nothing. Plus if you google searched, "Nine tailed fox" right now its name is the first thing that comes up.

Doesn't Kurama mean Fox anyway? Like in Yu Yu Hakusho Kurama used to be a fox? i just figured it's not much of a spoiler if that's what the word means.
