This movie was lightning in a bottle. Excellent casting, necessary given Lucas' minimalist directing style. Revolutionary visual and sound effects. John Williams' iconic orchestral score. And fantastic editing that saved the movie from being a big mess.

That was great, thanks for that. Bit of trivia here, Mark Hamill crashed his motorcycle in 1977 before the sequel was filmed and messed up his face, breaking his nose and cheek in the collision. So his face looks a little different in the next movies.
