It's not bad writing Nahid, ask yourself if those decisions that characters made are decisions that would be made in real life and yes they are. Just because you do not like a decision a character made doesn't mean its bad writing. People make bad choices all the time in real life and it's not bad writing it's real life. If the show had no bad choices than it wouldn't be a good show.

Best episode of season right next to the finale! Also ever since started this season I have been waiting for you to this episode because said you early on continuously throughout the season that Roan was the best and he will never die. LOL Looks that didn't happen.

I think yall forget that they have scouts watching each fighter. Bellamy wasn't a fighter so they wouldn't have anyone tracking him. Hence Kane and Octavia being left behind.

Lol, How's that math work? ... you guys are hard core Jodi stans though so it figured this ending wouldn't go over well. Especially with that dishonorable death, poor Roan & GD Luna. 😭 I knew everyone would be salty at the end, I HATED that Clarke did that too, major face palm moment for me. Looking back knowing what happens though?? Hmmm .... & one more thing, to give up on a show cuz the characters don't do what you want or expect them to seems really silly imo.

Exactly its not bad writing not only was it in line with the characters thinking process people in real life would make these decisions. They're just annoyed that it didnt go the way they wanted not necessarily because the writing was bad. This was a great episode and was the reason why season 4 especially was my favourite season.

Okay, Nahid and Pat, listen. Clarke had every single reason on earth to doubt that Octavia would win. She is the only in Skaikru who knows firsthand how dangerous Luna is, it is well established that Lexa only won her Conclave because Luna lost the taste for blood and violence. Luna was likely the best fighter they have ever seen. So from Clarke's POV taking the bunker covertly makes perfect sense tactically as there is a very strong chance that Luna wins and the human race is doomed. Remember, her goal right now is to ensure humanity survives. With that as her end goal, taking the bunker preemptively was absolutely the correct decision. Clarke is the type of leader who makes decisions based on what is likely to happen with the information that she has at that time, if she hadn't taken the bunker and Octavia had lost, you would yelling for not taking the bunker preemptively. _It was the best decision she could make at the time given the information she had_. The consequences of that decision should not necessarily be how we judge the wisdom of the decision in the first place.

Naheed's brain is that of a 10 years old kid watching his first action show. So much dumb takes without any ability to see yourself in their shoes and try to understand their motives. It's crazy that an adult can be so damn immature about subjects that are so relevent, even today.

Hate the characters not the writing, jesus fucking christ... also wait for it to play out before you decide if the deaths were "wasted" or not... Can you imagine how they feel about the person that ends up leading the bunker when they see how that plays out.

Exactly it's not about who you dislike or who makes dumb decisions it's about survival Remember this line "We don't need to be happy, we need to survive." That line sums up The 100 completely. Every character including Clarke was thinking about how to survive and not everyone will be happy about they get there. Also saying episode jumped the shark just because you disliked the ending is jumping the conclusions. They should just see how it plays out. The normies and in general fans sometimes jump to conclusions too much.

Clarke knows how deadly Luna is of course she would doubt who’s gonna win and just be a the bunker belongs to them all doesn’t mean they all get to live guys. Remember there’s only space for so many people do no doubt only so many people are going to get to live STILL. When I watched this I was soooo pissed at Clarke but watching the episode’s that follow I agree with what she did but with the few loose ends that happened and I get pissed at O for giving it away like that and throwing her people away like that. Clarke did make a good choice for her people and you’ll understand next few episodes.

Hi Normies! I just watch the uncut version and had a little something to contribute! Imo, Bellamy couldn't tell Gaia about Echo, if he did that would have been an execution sentence for Roan and the deaths of all of Azgeda. Plus Bellamy has mixed emotions about Echo because of their shared trauma, definitely respect. I don't think he would want her executed - they could have been friends in another life.

As a clarke stan who doubted her in this episode when it was airing, i totally understand everyone's frustration with her. but like suraj was saying, it would be a great idea for a clan to just jump in the bunker and stay in it themselves. Clarke saw lexa fighting and defeating roan. luna said that she didn't want to fight because she didn't want to kill anyone - which means she's better than lexa. And honestly, I love octavia and i feel like she's def the best fighter on the show, but she had received training for a year or maybe even less from indra, to the other characters, her winning the conclave was unlikely. Clarke's always wanted the best for her people, so this decision made sense to me. Of course, it wasn't the right decision, but do morals really have value when facing the end of the world? I think that's the question the show was trying to convey (Jason Rothenburg annoys the fuck out of me but this season's theme was just >>>>)

lmfao wtf is everyone surprised for. clarkes done this millions of times. shes done what she thought was best for her own ppl but ppl still posing the surprise pikachu face when it happens LOL. this was a survivor's move. nothing more. i hate it when ppl keep talking about fairness, honor or the right and moral way. this is the end of hte world for gods sake. there is no more honor or fairness left. the conclave was a grounder tradition to begin with. tf everyone still going on about morality at this point lol.
