I love that Micky is catching all the things from the book on the first episode! Love how they incorporated the Investigator chapters!

You guys keep calling every ship weapon a rail gun. Rail guns fire heavy projectiles in a single shot to bolt through the hull and hit critical damage. PDC's are the quick rapid fire shots designed for taking out incoming missiles or CQB. Also been used to shoot out engines a couple of times.

Also I get GoT book reader flashbacks with Micky. Those dudes just could not help themselves dropping "hints or clues but totally not a spoiler". Hope that wont be an issue fam. Besides that, so good to have the Expanse back. Up to episode 3 so far and watching next one this weekend, gotta spread em out to make it last longer.

I’m so looking forward to watching this!!! After years of screaming into oblivion about this show, I got a few of my friends into it this earlier this year, and I have to wait until we finish the rest of season three together here in the next week.

I feel like Mickey is unaware of the "leading questions = spoilers". Spoilers doesn't mean just giving something away, it means spoiling the experience for someone, in any way at all. Leading questions and "I don't think this is a spoiler" stuff is going to change their perception of whatever you are remarking on, which means they are not as blind to what they are watching as they could be. Im just really nervous about this.

Correction, in the "Take that blue goo!" scene Alex was just testing out the newly installed railgun. The Roci never had a railgun before, just PDCs and torpedos. He wasn't firing at protomolecule, he was firing at a rock I think. He just wanted to say something cool. Also Ashford wasn't firing on a refugee ship, he was chasing a pirate, refugee ships don't fire back. This is somewhat ironic because Ashford used to be a pirate and now he hunts pirates. He's not exactly happy about it.
