Gon’s response to Meleron is such an interesting little window into Gon. Gon is 100% okay if Meleoron was lying bc then it would make his choice to kill him easy. Gon is capable of complicated thoughts but he prefers/chooses to see things black and white. You are either with Gon and his friends or you aren’t

That black-and-white morality makes Gon so dangerous. Gon can rescue those in need, but he can also trick, cheat, beat up and maybe murder people if he believes it is "the right thing to do".
