Great point made by Marketa, and that’s kind of part of the current theme of MHA I think. All might was doing too much by himself, a society can’t function like this. It’s flawed, and it’s now up to the new generation to face the consequences of it.

I hate that these subtitles they use gave away Twice's identity before the mask reveal. Because of that we don't get the same cool reaction to that moment as we got from other MHA reactors. Same thing happened with Blind Wave

Because this is fiction and it allows us to look at things more objectively. Obviously that doesn't mean those things are OK it just give a lens to view things in a way we usually can't. Cause this isn't real people can be redeemed in ways they usually can't.

In my opinion I don’t think you have to be number 1 to be the symbol of piece. You could see it as bakugo being the number 1 later on and solving the most crimes and midoriya being the symbol of piece, handling the really big major things with a smile. Both kind of on equal footing

I see the good All Might has done but in the long run, he did kind of end up a glory hog. For so long he put off the thought of his replacement because he was so convinced it has to be HIM saving the day. Sure, he wasn't trying to be selfish. But he really should've thought more about sharing the glory with other heroes.

It is kind of mixed situation. From everything we have seen All Might hasn’t stolen villain captures like Mt. Lady did. It is just All Might cultivated his image of an ideal hero to put people at ease, while at the same time had the power and skill to do a lot. He helps out regardless of how small or big the job is and makes sure to put people at ease as well. It just that in a way it worked so well that people everywhere started to love and acknowledge him as the ideal hero and what people expect other heroes to be like. Naturally All Might got to the top and stayed there for a long time. That does breed resentment from others like Endeavor and makes other heroes not shine as much. At the same time it is not All Might actively went out to steal glory or even hog it. It is just the unfortunate side effect of the path All Might chose to help people just like Endeavor’s decision to just focus on strength and job, while ignoring the PR of heroics have a cost of people not liking him or feel he is a hero worthy of admiration or inspiration. The people who might have been inspired meet him and Endeavor’s cold demeanor or actions turn them off. Both All Might and Endeavor have their own way of doing things and they have their downfalls that can negatively impact society.

That was a good discussion. To add to the teamwork stuff that was also mentioned during the exam arc. The police and law enforcement specifically designed that year’s exam to emphasis teamwork along with skill level because they are recognizing the hole All Might has left and instead of trying to prop Endeavor up as the next symbol they are trying to have push all the heroes to be better and work together more to fill that hole. Ideally I think they are trying to do is have all heroes be an inspiration for people and the number #1 to be the face of it or at least an inspiration and drive for the other heroes to strive too. It is just a fine line to walk. On one hand with figure of #1 it might cause heroes to stagnate or become complacent, but on the other hand the #1 could be so big that they eclipse all the other heroes.

So I started reading the manga and the author likes to include little character profiles about some of the secondary characters that don't get a lot of dialogue. There was a fact about the mewsanchor with one horn that I found hilarious. Apparently he's so dedicated to his career that he got one horn amputated so it wouldn't cover the news he would be reporting. Such dedication hahaha

"Tell us how you're feeling." Oh boy... Well... I've been feeling stressed lately. I may be exaggerating, but I feel weird lately. And as vague as they are, they also sound similar to potential symptoms of colon cancer or something similar. It only serves to fuel my paranoia. My insurance expired and I wasn't sent a re-register notice. So I'm trying to reapply. The benefits don't take effect until January but I've been noticing weird stuff since like August or September. It's also possible to have colon cancer with no symptoms at all. And I'm stressed out thinking about it and trying to figure out how to set up an appointment. And finding out if I have anything wrong with me, and if so how early or late I caught it. And if not, I'll just have made a big fuss over nothing. I use entertainment to distract me, and these reactions are one of those things, since before I started feeling this way. But thinking about how I could be making a big deal out of nothing or... unknowingly be drifting towards something very serious is scary. And it's hard letting that get to you without simultaneously feeling like you're just blowing it out of proportion in the eyes of everyone you talk to about it, which leads you to just... not talk about it. Anyway. Thank you guys for having such entertaining personalities. Even if I ever think to criticize something you do, I suppose it's only because I'm invested. Just like when someone gets into a show and think talk shit to a character making a dumb choice. lol

bro... i pray to god that you dont have anything serious... but you should definitely do whatever is possible to check it out.. even if you have to pay out of pocket... health is number one... and ask for gods help... thats my advice... plus i dont get how feeling stressed is something that would make you assume that have colon cancer... calm down and if you cant remove the doubts in your mind then check it out... you could be hypochondriac... meaning you're obsessive and paranoid about a certain sickness or disease which makes you jump to conclusions... peace and dont forget to ask for Gods help.
