fun fact: julie the director actually brought fan art to life in the first scene where isak, even, and the boys are sitting by the van!! she based the whole set up all to the outfits off of an @elli_skam on ig post that was made before s4 started filming (not once, but twice, in this season) and credited them :) the fan service in this show is amazing. here is a link to the art if you want to see how spot on she was: https://tinyurl.com/y374derh

Just an fyi the bathroom scene when sana was cleaning up she was preparing for prayer it’s a ritual u do where you cleans ur senses before prayer she washes her mouth ears face hands head and ears

The actor who played William did leave the show but the original storyline had he stayed had him going to prison for bottling that kid from the rival russe bus in the face

I related so hard to this season of Skam, I'm not muslim but, grew up and still am in a what some people would say strict christian faith with a lot of similarities to Islam ( with respect to male/ female interactions, prayer and church commitments. Like it was realistic at least for me. Like Sana loves her faith and she's not being forced but is still trying to find her own identity. I really hope y'all like this season cause it really meant a lot to me.

Yeah she used to be engaged to Sana’s brother and when Sana thought she was hating on her, she posted all the dirty texts between Jamilla and her brother online lol

Did you guys watch the trailer(s)? A masterpiece! The trailer for season 4 goes backwards. You can also watch it in reverse (the music and lyrics makes more sense)

"I think this song is about FIFA" haha, that is so innocent. The song is called Fy faen and it is a Norwegian swear word. So when you sing "fy faen fy fy faen" it means something like "fuck fu fu fuck".

I don't know if anyone has told you guys this, but Sana's brother+friends (the SKAM fandom has nicknamed them "the balloon squad" for their entrance in this episode) actually have a legitimate YouTube channel named "Hei Briskeby" (briskeby is an area in Oslo, Norway). On that channel they upload videos where they do fun challenges and stuff in character for the show. Most of the other seasons are relatively still understandable without watching the extra social media content that SKAM has, but I'd say that with Season 4, some of the social media content (specifically these YouTube videos) actually help, and may kind of be needed to understand the finer details of what's happening in the background. So if you ever get a chance, please check these videos out! They really, really help in understanding and getting more comfortable with the balloon squad, and if you watch them chronologically with the episode they correlate with, you can actually see how the characters in the videos cause/are affected by the plot. I've given the links to the translated videos with English Subtitles below, with their corresponding episode number, and I've starred the ones that are the most important to see for the plot (in my opinion). I'd definitely recommend watching them all, though! There are great easter eggs in there even if they're not vital to the plot, and it really helps you to learn more about Elias (Sana's brother) and Yousef (the one she was making eyes at this episode). I also recommend watching them after the episode they correlate with for it to make the most sense and avoid spoilers.
