your reaction to the mini baby that colt was holding was so FUNNY to watch because it was my exact reaction the first time i watched it too. i was so confused and it was so creepy, i also cried. also just wanted to let you guys know that the fact that meruem was born early is an important factor. you need to remember that throughout the series he is not only premature but also technically a "new born".

To the Cozy 4, I would think moreso on the lines that while this is a threat to humanity, its also best to keep it quiet. Just thinking about how it would happen in real life. Remember, Netero said they only seek the strong and dont need anymore unnecessary people. Politics and strategy are very important and will play an important factor throughout the show. Just think about the "solutions you all propose", the impact, etc. Also, to further add onto the point about the Chimera Ants. Yes, they are an amalgamation of humans and their characteristics. While so, they are also a new species, so they are also way different. Neutrality and psychology are very important themes as well in the show.

Listen though, I’m in love with this show but no matter how diehard fans try to put it, that baby was just weird, completely unnecessary and makes no sense, especially when you find out more details about it later. (Like really, That name drop was one of the dumbest parts of this show.) Absolute asspull by Togashi I guess to give Colt something to protect. It serves no other purpose.

Yuck. Impatience, forgetting shit they go over in recent episodes, not being as enthusiastic at this fantastic arc. This isn’t enjoyable, its just getting me mad. Came back to see how they were faring with this arc but no wonder i left. Whew

Remember a few episodes ago where it said the Queen can give birth to multiple Kings? The Queen was going to give birth to 2 kings, but Mereum took all the nutrients and came out early.

Btw, this entire series takes place over the span of about one and a half years. So the boys would be 13 by now, nearing 14 at the end. And I love that you can actually tell that they’ve grown older! Their voices have become progressively deeper over time and their faces/bodies slightly more defined. I really love how subtle the growth is, but you can still tell if you pay close attention
