I think you'll see why people love this season so much once you finish it... it makes more sense once you've seen the whole storyline

Boy squad ♥️

on another note, I absolutely love the boy squad in this episode, they're hilarious

theres this great article about season 3s impact internationally: “Skam had become popular in China during season 3, where publicly discussing homosexuality is illegal. It reported that almost four million Chinese people had watched the third season through piracy and a total of six million had watched all episodes so far translated to Chinese. The report also stated that NRK has no plans to stop piracy in China, and NRK P3 editorial chief Håkon Moslet said ‘It was Isak and Even that captured a young Chinese audience. There's a lot of censorship in China, and they are role models and have a relationship that Chinese people have a need to see.’” heres the full if u wanna read (its in Norwegian tho but just click translate) https://www.vg.no/nyheter/utenriks/i/KJQmX/skam-tar-av-i-kina

Maybe not tell them to read anything about this season befor they have seen everything. I would have felt spoiled just from your text over her but that's maybe just me. Don't mean to be rude or anything.❤

I am friends with a Norwegian Pastor and he talked to me about youth coming out. To this day, they still find it hard. Especially in small towns.

1) The answer is D, Sana is wrong. 2) I find it actually refreshing that you guys have such an attachment to the girl squad because it is rare and the show is about them primarily. 3) I think your reactions have been good! You are very much watching this show as adults and Isak's season is so far the most frustrating for adults who have already learned the lesson of communicating because Isak and Even are bad communicators. 4) I think for some people first queer relationships mess people up especially because it requires so much vulnerability/bravery at the same time that you fall easily into patterns that aren't clever for the sake of willing something to continue.

That talk with his friends during pregame is one of my favorite scenes... all of this time Isak's been left out of basically EVERY conversation with his friends and now he can go to them for help and they actually gave him good advice.

Sandra

Suraj, what about the shoes? I need to hear the story about the shoes.

For me reacting in group is different, and can have pros and cons. 😊. It s not overhyped at all for me, but S3 is full of deep meanings that people have to analyse to understand it better. That s the charm of it. Keep watching though..

It was absolutely great to watch SKAM live, but also nerve-wracking and exiting. Another brilliant thing about SKAM, is that they shoot each clip only 2-3 weeks before they were released. So the weather of the season is accurate, they put in the latest popular culture, like music, TV series, video games etc.. And whatever young people in Norway were interested in at the time. A funny detail I noticed, was when Noora was lying on the couch watching TV with LInn, before Williams party, At the time the clip was released, we can hear the audio clip of a famous Norwegian TV show in real time. Complicated and hard work from the creators of SKAM 😄

the last scene, iconic

Loved your reaction here, and the discussion after 😊

Re the show working with such a small budget, Marlon Langeland (who plays Jonas) did an interview where he said that Even's apartment (from season 3 episode 2) was actually his real life apartment. All the guitars and posters on the walls and the books in the room were actually his. And a lot of the time, the actors wore clothes from their own closets. I think all of that really speaks to the authenticity of the show and how true to life it felt.

Maria Buka

I agree, it's one of my favorite scene for that reason too!

There's another reactor whose favorite season is 2 because he truly loved William and Noora (and he even got shit by the fandom for this unpopular opinion), but even he admitted that season 3 is still probably the best written. But yeah, you still haven't seen the best episode and also as others have said, watching it in group make it difficult to appreciate the small details and symbolism that are a huge part of this season. Watching it in group also make for super funny reactions tho, so I'm not complaining at all! I especially loved this reaction and the discussion after it. Just know that if you rewatched the season a second time, maybe alone, you'd probably notice a lot more things and would be less surprised by the fact that it's the most popular one (Path was shocked) lmao Anyway, great reaction, I can't wait for the rest of the season.

Trine

The fact that Emma told Isak "its 2016 Isak, get the fuck out of the closet". NO, coming out is a big deal, he needed to come out on his own terms and Emma outed him, its not ok. Bruh you were interested in this dude for a couple of weeks, you have no right. Emma just annoys the shit out of me.

Jay Aniakor

It definitely is not OK, but it's also not OK for Isak to use her like that. She shouldn't have lashed out like she did though. She should have had a private conversation with him.

I understand people love this season but trying to make them change there opinion is pretty stupid. Just because it's your favorite doesn't mean it will be there's. There on episode 7 I doubt by the end they will have a different view. Opinions can differ...not everyone relates the same way to the same subject and characters.

Charlotte

Just loving your reactions, guys! Most Skam reactors out there is around 20 and it's refreshing to see someone older (like me) react to it with a little different view in things.

Charlotte

And as for all the details, I watched it by myself, but I've watched it like 5-6 times, plus infinite number of reactions and certain clips, and it's easy to forget that most of them slipped by the first time I watched. I think you're doing great!

Elise

Isak's read caps is also Marlon's (who plays Jonas) in real life.😍

Charlotte

The other reactor, Joe, also did a live chat on Youtube after he finished s3, because he was so emotional and that didn't happen after s2. Bless him! ❤

Isn't amazing how the messaging in this show just drags you in??? Like you guys screaming what emoji he should take or when Noora was writing Nico in season 2, and there was a super long cut of her just trying figuring out how to phrase herself. How is it even possible to get people all hooked on their messaging? As you say, the writing is so genius it's freaking mad
