This is so painful to watch.  Why is this happening to Noora?!  But I'm glad she told the girls, she is at least not alone in this fight anymore.

I believe Noora was referencing US prison culture, when talking about “dropping the soap". Prison rape is not a common thing here. If you want to see an interesting comparison between the American prison system and the Nordic one, watch The Norden Nordic Prisons on YouTube. It features a former correctional superintendent from Attica, traveling Scandinavia and observing the differences in procedure. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on it. Chris, I so appreciated your comment about prison rape, and it really shouldn't be a controversial statement to make. Joking about prison rape is actually not funny at all and is incredibly homophobic. Also, on a completely unrelated note, Eskild and Linn are not siblings; they are just roommates. The reason we don't see Linn all that often is because she is mostly in her room, since it is hinted at throughout seasons 2 & 3 that she is suffering from depression or something similar.

I had a male friend who was drugged in a bar. He woke up in the alley behind the bar with his wallet gone. The cops said it's not at all unusual for guys to be drugged and robbed in this way. They said a few years prior they had busted a gang of guys who would target anyone who had nice jewelry, lots of cash, or a key ring with like a Mercedes emblem---basically anyone who gave any indication of having money.

Man, this season is HEAVY it is also the longest one, not only in number of episodes but also in screentime, the next two seasons are going to feel like a breeze...also this episodes, 8,9 and 10 are obviously marked by a feeling of dread and angst...all the other central characters only have one "hell week" but Noora had almost 3. And yes, this episode in particular got praise not only by the audience, but also from Norwegian media for helping young women dare to speak when abused.

Agreed, not only are prison rapes jokes homophobic but there's also a huge incarceration problem in the US, not every guy in jail deserves to be raped

Beacause it was just at that time (that year) there was most refugees, it was a BIG thing at least in Norway/Sweden.

for a light-hearted note at the end of the season, please watch SKAM s2 bloopers, it's a really funny behind the scene and it gives you an inkling of the actors personalities.

They should not watch the bloopers before they have seen all four seasons, the way they was published. Then they can't be spoiled in any way and it is so fun to go back in the end and see how a lot of them has changed and gotten better and everything. But of course they have to react to the bloopers but in my opinion they should wait until the end!👌👍
