The 100 3x5 Final

If you guys continue doing reactions the way you've been doing it with the double drops the start of every month, you might be able to catch up in time for the final season next year. The showrunner wants the show to go out on his terms and it will end on the 100th episode

Nice early morning start up Normies

Anonymous

i dont think they just handed over the chancellor pin to each other. I think the chancellor (Abby) is allowed to decided to have a re election and it looks like most people voted for Pike.

This has nothing to do with this episode but the main reason why the sky people didnt movie into mount weather was because they were afraid that moving into mount weather would look bad and might potentially start a war with the grounders since so many grounders were killed in mount weather it wouldnt look good if the sky people moved in there.

Anonymous

I know Octavia has had grounder fighting training but Bellamy could still whoop Octavias butt.

Anonymous

okay this is my last comment. lol. i think if Millers boyfriend had blown up at mount weather then Miller would have also joined Pike.

CuteAdorableDog

it's literally established octavia is one of the best fighters in the show period

FUN FACT: when The 100 symbol crashes together in the opening, it starts looking like the infinity symbol ♾

Anonymous

wow Pat got heated. Anyway Kane did say that the grounders were there to protect them and then Pike responded saying something like "its what farmers do to their livestock" so clearly Bellamy listened to Pike when it came to that. Bellamy is somebody who has never trusted the grounders completely. when Bellamy finally trusted a grounder (the girl who was in the cage next to him) that same grounder betrayed him.

Kataleesi

Clexa kinda ruined Lexa. It made me sad, ruthless Lexa was amazing. First Clark had to fix Finn's fuck up and now she has to fix another one.

This season is to The 100 what season 4 is to Community. The 100 does honestly get sooo much better after season 3.

Yani Reid

I'm with Surj... Bellarke still

JJ

I can already see suraj and rana in the picture lol they look so happy

Lol things are getting heated on the couch. I have never related harder to Chris and Marketa in my life than with this episode. Bellamy 100% knew the army was there to protect them before he attacked. He does not have the excuse of ignorance. He knew what Pike was planning to do and was instrumental in facilitating it, he was complicit on every level. And to put the blame on Clarke for his actions is ridiculous, Bellamy is a grown ass man he shouldn’t need a babysitter to prevent him from resorting to mass murder. Clarke left Arcadia for the sake of her own mental health following Mt. Weather, it’s not like she was off on a fun vacation. Bellamy is not her responsibility, she owes him nothing. Nothing. As for Lexa, peace and blood must not have blood was always her endgame and she was slowly moving her people towards it, the massacre just forced her hand. She recognizes the benefits of keeping Skykru as allies their tech, their medicine, their weapons would all be hugely beneficial to Grounder society and knows that if they retaliate that well will be poisoned forever, so no it’s not just her being pussywhipped. That doesn’t mean it’s the right call but the writing will forever be biased towards the Skykru and will always protect them even when they don’t deserve it so…. But can we talk about Kane and Abby who’s inept leadership massively contributed to all this happening but they never get the blame they deserve. 1. They decided to hold an election (that nobody knew they were planning to have) essentially the day after a terrorist attack. 2. They kept their people completely in the dark, instead of informing them that they had become the 13th clan and that a peacekeeping army was coming to help protect them, you know like leaders would do. They waited until the army was on their doorstep, then let Pike announce it and completely control the narrative. 3. They knew what Pike and Bellamy were going to do, they had a radio, they could’ve warned Indra and given the grounders a chance to retreat and save themselves but they did nothing then clutched their pearls when the death squad returned. In short, fuck Kane and Abby, those hypocritical fucks.

Who else is suprised that it was the Bellamy thing that annoyed chris and nahid I thought it would have been the other controversial thing that happened that annoyed them

Robert

Sooo you don’t think Bellamy was more mentally unstable than Clarke ? Everyone is coming st Bellamy for “betraying” the grounders. Bellamy has minimal to no relationship to the grounders just like a Clarke had minimal to no relationship with the good people in Mt. Weather. Sooo obviously the annihilation of MT. Weather hit Bellamy much harder than anyone else (aside Jasper). All he knows is grounder betrayal, even Lincoln betrayed him when they tried to infiltrate Mt. Weather. I’m not saying what he did is right and everyone can see the divide in his attitude. Bellamy has always been emotional and irrational. That is his character until..... But you get the gist.

Robert

Nah the Bellamy thing annoyed me tooo but I didn’t quit on the show cause I hoped he’d come around lol. I wonder how they will feel about that other thing tho

The sacred symbol! This completely changes the shows direction ! I can't wait for you'll to watch 3x07!! The chip interferes with the persons neural receptors so there is still pain they just don't feel it when they've taken the pill. Also the grounders are only allies to skycrew because Lexa commands it if she dies the next commander could order them to be wiped out and Indra would have no choice but to follow. Although I think Pike is stupid af i get his motives - build a community that is self sufficient, one not at the beck and call of a commander who can be easily replaced. Also Pike told Kane to tell the army to go home and they wouldn't, honestly I blame Kane and Abby's leadership for a lot that went wrong with Pike

Anonymous

Also please don't let the negativity attached to this season stop you'll from watching the show! At least watch to the end of Season 5! Octavia's storyline is just awesome!

Chelsea

LOL at all The Magicians talk in the beginning.

stuart wakeman

The Frist half is a bit shaky but it finds it's feet in the second half of the season.

n p

The Bellamy thing is not the "controversial" thing that pissed off a lot of people this season... If it was the Bellamy thing it would have at least made more sense and been more justified than the actual reason for the exaggerated "controversy".

L

MHA?

Kamina 1

Bellamy's atrocities aren't over yet. You just wait... I hated watching the assassination of Bellamy's character throughout this season, but LOVE watching you all react to it lmao comic af.

Kamina 1

Marketa's face throughout scenes regarding Bellamy, as she looks at everyone seeing this for the first time. *You have NOO fucking idea. There's more" x,D

n p

It's reasonable to criticize the writing if you think Bellamy's actions weren't in character. But when Nahid and Chris are questioning future writing just based on their assumption of how the massacre will be justified or the redemption will be handled then your confirmation bias is showing.

bits

Love you Normies! Great discussion!! I actually am surprisingly liking this season watching it through your eyes, I HATED it on first watch, and ooh do I hate Pike Mickey - not Echosmith, Of Monsters and Men 💕

George Byrd

Yeah they did massacre my boy this season. He’s still my favorite though

Anonymous

I think you have to look at the situation from Bellamy's point of view and not what we know as the audience. From season 1 when Bellamy encountered the grounders they have been at war. Then all he has experienced with the grounders is betrayal and killing. From Lexa allowing a bomb to drop on his sister, to the grounder's betrayal at Mt Weather, to Echo's betrayal leading to the death of all the farm station ppl. And to be fair, Lexa was all that was holding the alliance together. If she lost the one v one, the ice Queen would have probably used the army to attack them

Anonymous

So him being swayed by Pike on the back of a fresh massacre at Mt Weather where he lost his girl is not entirely far fetched.

Anonymous

Yeah that was honestly such an overreaction considering the reality of the situation. I saw that coming(obviosly not in the way it did) from 2x10 when they talked about re incarnation.

Anonymous

My hate for Pike just reminds me of what a good actor Mike Peach is!

Anonymous

People tend to forget that Lexa did a bad thing too. in the first season she sent her people to murder kids. And the grounders were the first people to attack. They threw the spear at Jasper. And during the bridge meeting the grounder in the tree was clearly about to shoot Clarke with an arrow. The grounders and Lexa are no better than Bellamy or Pike and his people.

Anonymous

Yeah the whole show is pretty much people doing terrible things in the name of survival so I see almost all charcters as equally immoral apart from the season 6 ones their just bat shit crazy

bits

Yeah! ... I'd love to see a spoiler-included discussion, I'm so curious on their opinions, especially Chris's.

Richard Griffin

Really season 3 is the best season just a lot of people mad because things didn't go the way they thought they would but if you just watch the entire season and pay attention to the story it sets the tone for past and future seasons

Alexis Cardarella

Nahid: I’ve got nothing else to say... Me: waits 10 seconds for rant to ensue. Nahid: OK so here’s my dissertation on why this is shit.

Alexis Cardarella

Omg, more McDonald’s/food analogies (do keep them coming, though). Marketa had to one up everyone. 😆

Alexis Cardarella

The selective moral outrage of this show (portrayed by characters) is nothing like I’ve seen before

Wolverine101

Hakeldama, or Akeldama, is the field that Judas Iscariot purchased with the 30 shekels of silver he got for betraying Jesus. It also the place where he hung himself and then eventually fell to the ground with his innards spilling all over the field, thus giving the place the name Hakeldama. Which is Aramaic for Field of Blood.

Wolverine101

Okay, so this one's a doozy. The thing with this development for Bellamy is that, ultimately, it is in character for him. Bellamy is a very emotional person and at this point in the story he is letting his emotions control his actions. This is the same thing that happened in season 1, where he let his love for Octavia control him to the point that he did terrible things. Bellamy has a very select group of people that he protects at any one time and whenever something bad happens to them, he takes it personally. At the beginning of season 1 that group was only Octavia. Then it became Octavia and Clarke. And then it became the entirety of the delinquents. Then season 2 comes around and he adds Indra, Lincoln, and the people in the Mountain who helped them. Having to kill understandably tore him up. Then we get to season 3 and Clarke has left him to deal with the emotional fallout from killing the people he was supposed to protect without his best friend and closest confidant. Enter Pike and Echo. In the three months since Mt Weather, Bellamy has somewhat softened on Grounders. He has known peace and become really good friends with Indra and Lincoln. Then Echo, the only other Grounder he has had a good experience with, tells him that his people (the people he must protect) are about to be killed at the summit. So he takes Pike and runs to save them only to realize too late that the attack was happening at Mt Weather. This is another mass death of people that he feels he must protect that he blames on himself, it has nothing to do with Gina. Then Pike starts talking about separating entirely from the Coalition and living in an independent, self-sustaining colony and attacking the Grounders in retribution for what they did to Farm Station, and the idea appeals to the extremely emotional Bellamy. He is not thinking clearly, he is upset and his emotions are clouding his judgement. So the attack happens, and he insists that they spare Indra (as she is one of the people that he has chosen to protect) saying that they need her to get the message back to Lexa. This of course is a massive slight to Indra, which Bellamy does not get because as much as he thinks he does know Grounders, he knows next to nothing. That brings us to this episode, where Bellamy is conflicted. All of the friends he made, save one, hate him for what he just did. Even his own sister, the one person in the world that he would literally destroy to protect, is calling him on this and is against him. He truly does believe that he is doing what is best for Arkadia and the rest of his people, and seeing Octavia so vehemently disagree with him is tearing him up inside. Bottomline is this, Bellamy has always been very emotional in his decisions. He does not think things through and when he feels intense guilt, shame, or grief he stupid things. It happened with the radio in season 1 and ended up causing The Culling (shame and guilt over shooting Jaha led him to destroy the radio), and it happened again here. This is far from a character assassination and is incredibly in character for Bellamy given what his past actions have been and what he just went through two episodes ago.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILk6X3yBDvY Bellamy is so hot. This only shows footage from the first 2 seasons so there is no spoilers

Episode 6 & 7 Are So Good Tho. It Gets Better. I For One HATED The Character Choices As Well. ( Lexa & Bellamy's) But It Gets Better.

bits

Oh nice, good fact - ties in perfectly w Bellamy's storyline.

Anonymous

We’re all saying it but we get the character choices are kinda head scratchingly frustrating 😂 but if you stick with it the show as a whole finds it footing in its niche of the television spectrum 🙏🏽

Abs Mahamud

bro wtf is white Pat wearing? are those shoes or socks???? im freaking out it looks so weird and my brain isn't reacting well to it
