That description's pretty fitting considering bellamy is about to help pike cause a genocide; all because he's p***ywhipped over a girl who is attracted to another girl

Chelsea

So not to get political, but tribalism is a thing that is a problem today... the way we treat certain groups as a whole in the United States... just saying. What is happening in The 100 right now is not at all unrealistic. It's human behavior at its worst/most extreme.

Chelsea

Dude, they've probably watched ahead but SPOILERS. Also- this is Bellamy's third genocide (if you count him letting all the people on the Arc get sacrificed)- its not really that much out of his character.. they always think they have a good enough reason...

Anonymous

In my personal opinion, tribalism is more a symptom rather then the problem itself. But lets not get into politics here :P

Robert

All Bellamy knows is betrayal from grounders that aren’t named Lincoln. He’s acting off emotions as his character normally does , he rarely uses his head

So... this is when Bell just crashed and became unforgivable. Whatever, i liked him before this, but after. I cant justify at all what Bell does. Also them Clexa moments had the fandom blue balling 😁😅

Maria Cordova

Some BTS info the actor who played Wic got caught saying the n-word between seasons and got fired from the show after

George Byrd

I wonder if I chant season 4 will we get it quicker

Such a great fight!! And the introduction of Boris Blake 🤣 this is Bellamy's darkest timeline. Bellamy frequently acts from an emotional standpoint, his heart not his head, so I guess his turn makes sense? (Not really though lol) I did not connect on my first viewing that it was Echo who betrays him, very interesting. Also, side rant sorry! ... I hate tv snobs, and Nahid dear you're being one ..what does it matter what people watch and find enjoyment in? I didn't mind the discussion in the beginning, even though it's pure snobbery - that's all in good fun. But don't be too condescending, you'll slowly ruin the vibe of the couch. 😘

I bet Suraj was so embarrassed to wear that bellarke shirt at that point and probably stopped shipping them

Heru Muharrar

Oh yeah. Bellamy did that...that's one of the reasons I don't love this season. Still a lot of good stuff.

Philipp Lembens

broooo … what about that GOT spoiler alert in the title? lol

Zach Hershman

Bellamy's turn isn't exactly out of nowhere. He blames himself for what happened at Mt Weather. He released Echo when she was captured and believed her about the supposed attack. He organized the mission that left Mt Weather completely defenseless. That got the girl he "loved" killed. Also all he has ever known from the grounders is death and betrayal. All of season one they were trying to kill him. At the start of season two they were trying to kill him. They only stopped because they both had a common ally that was a bigger threat. They then betrayed them when they got a better offer. At the start of season two they were peaceful which led to him trusting Echo. That led to another betrayal. Can you really blame him for thinking they would then on them again? Was attacking the force went to protect you going too far? Definitely. Did he have a good reason to believe that that force would later turn on them when they had their guard down? Yes.

Richard Griffin

So..to all my 100 fans I guess if we start complaining like the MHA fans we will get more double drops lol..jk mondays are the best though I get my 100 on after I read all the complaints in the comments about MHA..cant wait til nxt Monday

Richard Griffin

Wait a minute...Marketa this is your first time noticing nightblood and you have seen all of season 3? Wow!? Lol I guess now I can see why you stop watching you're missing a major plotline..Keep watching!!!

Zach Hershman

I have no clue how she could have missed it unless she was just so mad because of Pike. Even then it seems impossible. It is tied into every story of this season. No spoilers but it is the single biggest plotline for this entire show.

Alexis Cardarella

Pat.. you silly man.. this is not in any aspect better than the Expanse..

Alexis Cardarella

Let Pat rave over McDonald’s and not steak. LET THE MAN LIVE

Zach Hershman

I enjoy this show more than I do The Expanse. For me it is better but I wouldn't argue it's a better show. I'm just more connected to the characters (I am up to date.)

izzy

I wish we could see more of the 100 reactions :(((I love these reactionsss so much and wish it could be twice a week but I understand timing and other shows

I like many things about season 3. I kinda like dark Bellamy (but not Pike), the conflict between Bellamy and Clarke, Raven and Octavia's story, all of the emotional stuff (and there's a lot). But even if you'll be discouraged at the end of the season, please don't stop, season 4 is amazing and I think everyone agrees!

Anonymous

Yeah I think bellamy's turn is pretty in character too. It's just hard to swallow as an audience since we've come to know the grounders so much. There are scenes with his explanation of why he's doing this but they got deleted. Also the only reason the grounders are protecting sky crew is because of Lexa, had she died in the fight then who knows what the new commander would've ordered Indra's army to do.

Roan is one of my favourites! I think any new potential leader on the show always captures the audience cause they mirror a lot of the qualities our fav characters poses. Can't wait for you'll to see more of him!

Remeber season 2 where Lexa left them to die?

Linsey Morris

people love to forget that part this season bc the writers do their damndest to try to make her look ~innocent and soft and only wanting peace~ i often wonder what she could have been as a character had the fans not gotten in the writers head to the extent that they did this season. i wonder what the SHOW could have been had they not let the audience dictate so much.

Linsey Morris

couldn't justify what bellamy does and yet somehow can probably justify all the dumb shit clarke let lexa convince her to do last season?? sure makes perfect since.

Kamina 1

Here begins the downward spiral that is Bellamy Blake's character assassination. *sigh* I feel so sorry for Suraj, but also excited to see the reaction lol

Anonymous

The Expanse is better lol. But I also like the 100. Great reaction as always!

Wolverine101

Bellamy may know Indra and Lincoln, but he does not know Grounders as a whole. All he knows is betrayal and violence when it comes to them. Every single time he has engaged with the Grounders, they have betrayed him. From his perspective, they tried to kill Clarke at Finn's peace talks, they started a war for no reason (he didn't get to hear why they attacked), when he counted on Lexa's backup to shut down the mountain she betrayed them and he was forced to kill an entire civilization, and then when he trusted the word of one of the few Grounders he feels he can trust when she said the summit was a trap, he got 49 people from Farm Station killed. Remember that Bellamy, and the vast majority of Skaikru, do not have the same experience with the Grounders that our POV characters have. We are following the leadership of Skaikru, and the vast majority of them probably aren't the biggest fans of Grounders. As far as Farm Station goes, I maintain that this season should have opened with a flashback to what happened to them, followed by a time lapse ending in them reuniting with Alpha Station (Arkadia), and then have them go off and find Clarke. Pike does have his reasons, and they aren't all xenophobic, but they just don't do a great job of showing his actual reasons straight away. Keep watching, it does get better.

Wolverine101

This is not a character assassination, he is entirely in character here. Keep in mind his perspective on everything. Bellamy has not had the same experience with the Grounders that Clarke or Kane has had. Every single time he has engaged with their society, he was betrayed, sometimes even resulting in him committing genocide as a result. He holds a lot of resentment toward them.

MelGoethals

Agreed, knowing the trauma Farm Station went through in Ice Nation, I'd be pretty war driven as well. They've spent a few months fighting for their lives, they have no real reason to trust these people, just on the word of others. I've always found that part of season 3 very fascinating. Like a lot of season 3 is questionable and really messy, but I don't think this particular event was part of it.

Anonymous

there is a deleted scene in season 3 episode 4 that makes it more clear why Bellamy chose to side with Pike

Anonymous

From Bellamys perspective he has no reason to believe that all grounders aren't the same since grounders (not ice nation) murdered his friends in the first season and since the grounders (not ice nation again) betrayed his people at mount weather. In season 3 episode 3 Bellamy said to Clarke that "Lexa will always put her people first" and Bellamy has every reason to believe that. In the season 3 episode 4 deleted scene Bellamy says to Octavia "your friends in trikru betrayed us too. They abandoned us at mount weather. They killed 37 of our friends before that" and he also says to Octavia "When our lives are on the line Pikes people will have our backs. Can you honestly say Indra would?" and after Bellamy says that to her she has no response because she knows he has a point.

Anonymous

you have to keep in mind that the audience gets to see stuff that Bellamy doesn't get to see so we as the audience know that Bellamy doesn't have to do what he's doing but we can also understand from his perspective that he thinks he's doing what he has to do.
