Honestly, I still maintain that the Substitution Jutsu is BS and only there for artificial tension. It's not like it's a literal teleportation swap. The ninja are using chakra to speed up their bodies and have to physically make the switch, yet there are a bunch of situations where it makes zero sense for them to be able to actually swap themselves out for another object.

Another aspect I’ll take you’ll appreciate is the more mature theme of the show going forward. The show already had it so that’s not me slighting it, but I think it’s more consistent. Episode 80 I think is the most obvious highlight of what I’m talking about when you guys reach it

That's right, they did use their budget on important episodes for all Naruto's and Naruto Shippuden's run. A common practice that didn't bother me and doesn't bother me now.

Don’t think they have to triple drop it, but they should really end a binge on 80. If they watch according to their schedule next week they’ll stop at 75, then 77, then 79, for that last week they should try to squeeze in 1 more.
