if there's ever a time to give the most definitive "oh shit" moment in Hank's life, it'd fittingly be while he's sitting on the crapper. probably dropped a deuce when he thought it. rewatching the series via these reactions keeps reminding me, the series, as dark and serious as it gets as the story progresses, still carries around that comedic element presented in the first few minutes of the first episode. most of them went over my head as i watched this while it was still airing.

That's the X-Files effect, Same man, Vince Gilligan. Check it out... as dark and mysterious as that show was, there was always a few lines of hilarious dialogue in there, usually reserved for Duchovny's great non-acting acting technique.

The next "half" of the "season" I like to call season 6, I don't care what it is officially. We had to wait almost a year to see the last batch of episodes. What got me through the wait was the genius of the last scene, Hank figuring out the truth in the bathroom.
