My Hero Academia - Season 3 or Movie? (Patreon)

Hey everyone we have been back and forth about this so we just wanted to put it to a vote. Should we watch the MHA movie BEFORE we start Season 3 or should we watch it whenever we're dong with S3 or in the middle or whenever?

Should really watch season 3 first, there is no direct spoilers in the movie but it assumes you have watched season 3 in my opinion.

S3 first because there are some spoilers for it in the movie. You should be able to watch it after finishing the 1st half of s3

You kinda gotta watch most of season 3 to understand some stuff in the movie. Just watch the movie after season 3 or whenever there’s a small filler that promotes the movie in season 3

Technically speaking the movie comes before season 3 timeline wise, but it has no direct impact on the story and is filler. Its a great movie though, so I am okay with whatever order.

Season 3 first, they advertise the movie during season 3 so I assume it's meant to be watched afterwards.. (also S3 E1 is a recap episode, maybe watch it on your own instead of a reaction :)

I feel like you should be fine as long as u watch the first half of s3. Also this is a long time away but for s3ep14 there’s a new opening. I’d suggest skipping the op just for that episode, as it does kinda spoil stuff in that ep

i believe there is a filler episode (i believe ep 20) were it sets up the movie. I would say that you guys should watch after that.

def do season 3 first. There is a lot of themes and plot points that would be so much more meaningful after watching the events that is the roller coaster of season 3

There needs to be a 3rd option. There's a filler episode that acts as an advertisement for the movie. That's when you should watch the movie.

Definitely watch season 3 first just so some of its most hype moments don't pale in comparison for you to the movie's super high budget climax

I say before but that's because I know I'm gonna be annoyed that half you guys will forget when exactly it takes place in conjunction to the show and confuse yourselves. Not to be mean but you watch so many shows you do it all the time., to be expected.

Not trying to be greedy but would it be possible to do a double drop with the last ep of s02 and the first ep of s03... Or s03e01 and s03e02? It's just that s03e01 is a filler ep for some reason.

I agree with Zack but personally I am ok either way but it makes more sense to watch it before just because it fits in the arc of events that happen. I would just do what you think is best OR MAYBE *wink* *wink* you guys could do like a special double drop where you drop the movie and episode one to start of the new season but just an idea :)
