I think you guys might have missed the part where Leslie backtracked and admitted it was her plan. Anyway I'm jealous, season 3 is incredible and is in the pantheon of all-time great comedy seasons

When people have told you guys this season is where Parks and Rec really takes flight, I don't think they referred to the humor. The show, starting with season 2, was consistently funny. Given the nature and content of the show, I would say it displayed a lot of heart. Emotionally, it gained, and presented a lot of crowd-pleasing (some tear-jerking) moments.

Even season 1 was really funny. The show probably would have still been good if it had stayed that way but new heights were definitely hit in season 2 and beyond.

even with it being a green card marriage wendy and ron are still tom's friends so.........and the show plays it off as if its all on tom for being "immature" and his betrayers have no blame in the situation. ugh. hate them both
