Back at it again with the 100! Pat is Pat now. So Mount Weather has a giant fuck off missile apparently and straight up bombs the SHIT out of the Grounders! Kudos to this show for introducing a threat and then delivering on it within the same episode. I thought it built tension successfully.

Also I have seen Micky shamelessly devouring McDonalds double chesesburgers and smiling while doing it. Don't let the man fool you. He is Trikru! Actually he is technically Maunon Kru.

Chris was pronouncing it right. It's not coup de "grace" or whatever Suraj think... lol And the definition Micky read is dumb as hell and nobody actually uses it for that... It just means "killing blow".

Did anyone hear about how the actors who play clarke and bellamy secretly got married recently ? To be honest, I'm don't really ship Bellarke but I guess congulatuons to Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley. I hope next week they double drop becuase we'll get to see their reaction to episode 14. Anyone who's seen that episode will know why

thenormies

According to the internet the proper pronunciation is 'Grace'! I've always heard "graw" though.

Chelsea

Y'all lookin fiiiiine in those Hundo shirts ;) And yes, I gave Micky the Mountain Men one on purpose. Ya hater :p

Linsey Morris

i know it's not this one bc you filmed it before but i really can't wait for the one where you guys react to bob and eliza getting married lmao

Pat is right end of season 4 and season 5 is better than the last season of GoT

Rubicon is a river in northern Italy. The saying "crossing the Rubicon" refers to when Ceaser crossed it with one of his legions, with the intent of taking complete control of the Republic by making himself dictator. He did this because he refused to comply with the Senate's demands - disbanding his armies and return to Rome, which would essentialy mean that he would lose most of his power and influence. "Crossing the Rubicon" is when you go past the point of no return.

Forgive this gushy comment that has nothing to do with your reaction...Bob and Eliza got married in Hawaii on May 6th. No friends or family, just them. It must have been beautiful! The minister said he’s never before been brought to tears over a couple’s words to each other, and it was obvious they loved each other deeply. As a long-time bellarke shipper, their announcement just floored me. I’ve seen so many panels and interviews with them over the years and you could always see how much they adore each other. Best friends to married - I love it! (I’m over the moon with happiness for them, can you tell?)

Robert

I love Pat now for that comment !!!

This theme is probably the most important one of the whole series. Seems like nuanced tough decisions are also another theme which makes the story writing and plot interesting. (obviously not early season GoT level but still its good)

They said that all of the armies is camped in the woods..only the leaders, bodyguards, and maybe their servants was bombed

The Pat is dead, long live the Pat!

I just want to second everything you said. I've been shipping these two characters since season one and for the actors I'm a sucker for best friends to soulmates. So I'm so happy for them!

its harsh but the move was to win the war. they need belamy to stay the inside man more than the people they lost with the missile. it wouldve been supicious if by happen stance suddentl they leave regardless of the reason. also killing the scout wouldnt really have made much of a difference at that point since he had already served his purpose.

I think Lexa may have wanted the other leaders to die. It's just a hunch, because she made the decision so quickly after finding out about the missile.

monkeyman

Think lexa pointed out if they kill the scout they would try a aging and they may not know when that one will happen

Also, if the grounders sweep the woods, there's a big chance he'd see it, know they were looking for him and alert the base before capture. So Bellamy would be revealed that way too. The best option was a fire or something, but they wouldve just tried bombing again in a strategically worse circumstance I guess. Love this show and I'm loving these recaps cuz I've forgotten alot of it, so good! Plus cheers to Bob and Eliza, the best news ever 💕

I challenge Mickey to a UFC fight. He’s not even listening to the dialogue at this point 😂

Afif Majid

that news came with less of a heads up than the missile, wow

Wolverine101

Okay, so there's a massive debate within the fandom on what the right decision was in that situation. Lexa was not wrong, in that if they went about it the wrong way they risked blowing Bellamy's cover. So on that side of the argument I can see why you would let it happen. Additionally, you didn't exactly have a lot of time to formulate a plan. If they had had more than like 10 minutes once Clarke got there, they likely would be able to secretly find the guy. Plus there's no guarantee that they would just fire anyway once they saw fire had been started so that they could cut their losses get who they could and deal with the aftermath later. Ultimately the smartest play was for the few people who did know to secretly leave before risking them a) finding out or b) choosing to fire anyway regardless of whether or not the targets are there.

Kim Carragher

Lexas decision actually mimicked real WW2 choices that the Allies made to hide the fact that they'd broken the German code. If anyone has seen The Enigma Machine, you'll know that these kind of decisions, right or wrong, were necessary to protect the flow of intelligence. Protecting that flow is what allows you to win a war. War isn't honourable, or good or kind and to win one you've been forced to participate in (as they've been forced in the show) you need to be pragmatic. Morality is importanf, but arguably you save more lives finishing a war quickly than trying to remain "clean"
