Once again, people are frustrated with the lack of communication. If a member of The Normies were to simply say, "Youtube fucked up. We're reuploading as soon as we can, but that won't be until tomorrow," everything would be fine and no one would be upset. I don't know how many times something like this or a missed drop needs to happen for them to realize that all people really want is a little communication from them.

Why this always happen? After avatar and Korra literally all I watch on this is the parks and my hero videos. Why does every other parks and rec video not work? Even when I go back to try to watch them later weeks later they don’t work. I might as well just wait for them on YouTube. Plus I’ve been trying to suggest shows for months and know ones even bothered to respond to my comments. It’s like 30 of them, what are they all doing? I think ima save my 10 bucks. They obviously don’t care.

I thought about saying this as a prediction but decided it'd be too rude. I knew the response would be shifting blame to us for not telling you about the mistake. Not cool man, this happens way too often. Double check the upload went though correctly with the correct episode and without spelling mistakes. We aren't responsible for that stuff.

I don't take issue with the fact that the video wasn't ready yesterday but I can understand the frustrations of the people that were complaining. They're paying for a service and as of late there have been some quality control issues with that service. In the past week or two alone there have been broken episodes, missing episodes, audio de-sync issues, and various mic failures. That's why people are complaining. Their complaints doesn't mean they're angry at The Normies or that The Normies are somehow bad people. They have a business to run and if they want it to succeed they should be able to handle criticism like that (and for the most part I believe they do.) I do, however, take issue with people who act like the feelings and frustrations of others don't matter. You don't get to be the gatekeeper of complaints and you shouldn't insult people by insuating they're not true fans because they didn't go to Normiecon or because they're frustrated. That's ridiculous.

To anyone reading this late comment: I understand the concerns with not being notified about delays and when errors like these happen. Last week we accidentally dropped an episode ahead and just decided to double drop. Funny how good deeds we do always get overlooked and overshadowed by these tiny mistakes. Yes this was 100% our fault and we fixed it as soon as we found out. No this is not shifting blame to anyone that “didn’t notify us.” To say so is a logical fallacy and literally shoving words in our mouth to perpetuate your own narrative. Yes we should have a system in place to check in case afterward an upload didn’t work or go through. Yes it has been 3 years but this will always be the struggle and believe it or not things have actually gotten MUCH MUCH better then what some folks here are saying. We have never missed a scheduled upload and when we do we let people know right away. For mistakes like these... Shit happens! We just wrapped up Normie Con this week so lots of people were out of town and taking breaks. This got overlooked. And again to clarify: The above sentences are NOT EXCUSES, they’re explanations for our fuck up because people deserve to hear an explanation. If you still think these words are shifting blame to you guys for not notifying us then I don’t know what to tell you. I can completely understand any and all criticism aimed at this specific posting however it’s upsetting to see so many thinking we don’t care about Parks and Rec. This is one of my fave shows we’re watching and again we DOUBLE dropped last week. When errors like these happen we’re not treating you unfairly on purpose. We do everything we can for you all because you all make us possible to exist. We take criticism very seriously and everyone who pays for this perk is entitled to share their opinion no matter negative or positive. Be respectful to each other in the comments but please also stop putting words in each other’s mouths. It just causes chaos. Don’t be a little finger. - Suraj
