Guys, sometimes it's cool to make comparisons between different anime, but all the time, in each episode, it gets a little boring and annoying. Suraj, my bro, we realized that you knew DB very well but the name of this show is Naruto, let's talk about Naruto and his amazing universe. There will always be similarities between animes, the question is whether you will always focus on that, I hope not. I'm sure I'm not the only one to be bored. PS: But I want to say that I have nothing against Suraj, he is very insightful, he has the sense of analysis and we can clearly see that he is a fan of anime, it's just that to hear comparisons all the time is a little boring.

I dont mind when they compare. Its not like they are not respecting Naruto as its own show. To me its like acknowledging how things are similar in animes. I mean animes have tropes. so animes have lots of similarities. Thats why an anime like one punch man is funny because it makes fun of those tropes. To say they always focus on that is kind of reaching because they still a majority of the time focus on the actual show at hand. Mentioning a similarity very shortly is just a part of the commentary, its not the whole commentary. A commentary is basically speaking whats on your mind. If they are filtering whats on their mind to fit their audience then its a fake reaction in my opinion. They say everything thats on their mind in that moment, thats an actual reaction whether people agree or disagree. We watch for their honest reaction. Watching a reaction where people are tailoring their opinions or thoughts to what people want/expect isnt a reaction, but a script.

why they do that with with the cliff hanging and flash backs ect is too keep the audience watching and interested many long on going shows do this its an anime thing.

The big gate with the Talisman on it, is stopping the nine tails from controlling naruto and freeing himself, and like you guys said it can only influence him. So if naruto dies the nine tails dies too, thats why when they fought haku on the bridge and this episode with him falling he gives him some of his chakra too get him outr sticky situations to save narutos life because the fox will die also.so pretty much in near death situations.

To be fair Naruto had a lot of things going on at a time. He spends most of the series either training or rushing off to one fight after another. Some teenage girl's feelings isn't as important as saving the world.
