So happy you guys are excited about this arc! Also yes Suraj, Togashi is a genius and deserves a lot of praise for how well thought out many concepts in hxh are.

Edwin Gonzalez

The creator of HXH was a huge fan of games in general, so that tells you something about this arc. The Nen powers also based on game logic. or so I've heard.

Alejandro Gil

They are so into this already! I love it O_o

Doofus

The normies have come to understand just how much a deadbeat Ging really is lol

Killua got a headstart in his Hatsu "thanks" to his torture enduring training. Remember what Kurapika told about what it was like for him to learn to conjure chains: MONTHS holding chains, imagining chains, hearing them, to the point he literally HALLUCINATED freaking chains... In theory, Killua would need to go to a similar training seeing and feeling electricity, which is why the hunter was so shocked he learned it in 4 days even though "in theory it's possible"... Because he has been tortured by his family so much from a young age that for him it was just like "ok, I need to visualize electricity running through my body? Bitch I've had electricity running through my body like a million times already, easy!"

Really love the your reaction guys :)

Tbh, I find this arc to be pretty weak, compare to the others. Imean, you go from The Phantom Troupe and Chrollo to a mix between Pokemon and SOA. It's not bad, but not on par with what came before or whatcomes after.

Victor Haglund

i used to hate this arc, but rewatching it it's been kinda fun actully. the stakes and tension obviously feels worse compared to the amazing phantom troupe arc but it holds alot of enjoyable and fun moments.

John FD Lobrano

I find this the 2nd weakest arc. First being Heaven's Arena.

But you kinda have to agree both introduce fundamental components of how nen work that is then applied throughout the entire series. Without them Nen wouldn't be such a flexable and unique power system

During my first watch I definitely didn’t appreciate Greed Island as much as I do now. Looking back and rewatching with y’all I can definitely say the Hunter exam is the weakest arc. It’s not bad by any means. As someone who enjoys slow paced storytelling, the pacing is just too slow on a second watch. Heavens Arena is great. Nen introduction is fascinating and Greed Island is so much fun especially if you love gaming.

Barney Rudkins-Stow

Personally Greed Island was one of my favourite arcs, the expansion of Nen is super cool!

Alexandre Boutin

The training was my favorite part of this arc as well, its pretty great looking back.

Jason Lim

Oh yeah, I've never thought of that before, thanks for the insight.

In the manga apparently Leorio gets more love and is shown being really strong.. (opening the 2nd or 4th gate to killuas house)
