This was my least favorite community episode ever. To me, it undermines the main premise of the show - that this motley group of outcasts and strangers came together to form an unlikely family.

Fun... but like, feels like it shouldn't be canon... Of all the season 4 eps , this is the one that feels most like fan fic.

Oh, also, Miles Morales was inspired by the Donald Glover fan campaign for Spiderman. He then voiced Miles on a spiderman animated tv series. As Chris mentioned, his character in Homecoming was Miles' uncle. And you can see a sniipet of Troy in his spiderman PJs playing on a TV in Into The Spiderverse

Connecting all the backstories feels too forced. But i like how they wrapped up Chang's redemption arc this episode.

This is my most hated episode of community. I can go on and on about how retconing everyone to have met before is stupid and it is and how i rolled my eyes so hard while watching it you could hear it from space but forgetting that Troy dislocated both of his shoulders and not face bust his knee is unforgivable. But some like it, so whatever.
