Gaara is my favorite character in the entire series. No spoilers but His character arc is one of the best written in the show. Don’t disrespect my boy like that Nahid! Lol Nah but seriously I had the same gut reaction at first too. 👌🏼

Gaara and his siblings were there WAY before Team 8 (Hinata's team) and he got there without a scratch. It's just unheard of because The Forest of Death is treacherous and bound to rough a regular shinobi up somehow. Also, Gaara killing people should not be a surprise. Like, at all. They all signed a waiver. Forest of Death - it's in the name. Nahid is making up stuff yet again. lol. He's fine with Killua killing two people who bumped him, but not with Gaara killing a team that literally tried to kill him first (did he think that hail of senbon were not sharp projectiles of death??) Nahid is cool, but sometimes his head canon is completely nonsensical.

Yeah, I'm gonna second that suggestion of taking notes or something for the show. More characters are gonna come and more plot is gonna develop and they're kinda struggling to keep up as is. It would also help with recaps when they take long breaks.

I'd say Team Gai is a mix between offense and defense. Their only real weakness is long range attacks and immobilsing jutsu. Lee rushes towards the enemy to get into melee combat while Ten-Ten uses her throwing weapons and other ranged attacks to keep the enemies off-balance and scattered. Neji will be either on the defense or the offense depending on the situation.

Maybe don’t discuss so much during the show, then you won’t miss stuff, then you won’t question other things WHILE they’re being explained, then you won’t have people on the internet yelling at you for getting it wrong. Just a thought lol.

They’re all actually brother and sister. Temari(The Blonde haired girl) is the oldest, Kankuro(The puppet user) is second oldest, and Gaara is the youngest.

Exactly what Suraj & Micky mentioned. They didn’t have a truly blind reaction because of people spoiling how good/bad characters are or get later down the line. STOP HYPING UP CHARACTERS GUYS. Let them watch naturally, like everyone else. They’ll appreciate the series the most that way. It’s better to find out you’re right/wrong about a character by seeing them progress. Not by some random person telling you “Hey, you’re wrong about that character.”

Gaara's squad got there on the first day. They waited there for a couple days before Hinata's squad showed up.. they went around checking out their competition to KILL boredom until the time limit was up. Gaara is probably my 2nd favorite character in this series (Shippuden included) with a certain warty boi being #1.

I hate (with a passion) when reactors insist on reacting to dubbed version of anime. It's not that the original will almost always have a better delivery. It's that the reactors know they will not have to pay close attention to anything. Talk over each other (and the dialog), missing plot points, delivering a half assed reaction. Last time I'm ever supporting reactors who react to dubbed anime out of "convenience" (not that anyone cares, just had to say it). Take care, I'm out!
