Yes this is probably my least favorite episode of this season but not because it’s a bad episode it’s just not as great as the rest. Simmons is getting a upgrade now too. If you remember Mack was just like his brother in season 2. Fearful of anything alien. This episode is highlighting the change he has gone through. That’s why his brother is mini Mack lol. this is around the time the movie civil war was about to come out so keep that in mind. There are similar themes

SHOTGUN AXE!!! (Also cool shirt Marketa )

I don't agree with Daisy ignoring orders BUT I wouldn't call her emotionl, like fitz literally endangered Daisy jumping through the portal to save Jemma back at the beginning of the season and no one called him emotional.... It's a huge part of both their characters to follow their hearts over being pragmatic / obedient and idk ppl don't criticise fitz as much as Daisy idk I know what you guys are saying but I think calling her emotional is a bit dismissive (she's literally a target of terrorism) Also the punisher tortured ppl and all Daisy did was break a window. It's hardly breaking civil liberties when the person you're threatening is involving themselves with terrorists - still a great reaction though! I'm not saying I'm a fan of her going solo whenever she feels like it but the majority of the team except May kind of do the same, the show just kind of frames her decisions as reckless in comparison to other characters (fitz is always framed as heroic and righteous)

Deadpool

Is this a rare thing that’s happening or is it officially 2 episodes per week

Jessica

Its rare. The description said to enjoy a double drop this Tuesday. They give us double drops on shows as they see fit. This is still 1 episode a week.

MOB12

HELL YEAH THANK YOU

Linsey Morris

YAY DOUBLE DROP this is a good combo to double drop on since this one was another info heavy episode that sets up the future plots. SO HAPPY THE BIRTH OF THE SHOTGUN AXE IS HERE sometimes i feel like this was like the #2 reason for this episodes existence lmao

Macy

so awesome!

Linsey Morris

that's not necessarily a good comparison. i mean i definitely think fitz is the most emotional on the team (i've said this on another reactor's videos as well) but in that situation daisy had volunteered to hold the portal open and fitz diving into the portal only truly endangered himself bc daisy could let go of it at any time if she needed to. i think people frame fitz as more heroic bc he's generally just putting his own life in danger while daisy's doing more for the greater good so her decisions affect bigger groups of people (this statement only refers to the show up to this point). also i want to clarify that i'm on daisy's side with this whole watchdog's situation. i tend to be like her about causes that are close to me and just go in guns blazing but it's good of her to have a partner like mack who thinks of things more pragmatically. you can't lead with just your heart. you have to have a balance with your head or people will get killed. and that's also why people call her out more than fitz bc fitz isn't a leader like she is. but honestly idk why the fandom is obsessed with pitting those two specifically against each other constantly, it's stupid. they both have their faults and they both have their strengths.

Daisy is being hunted down and breaks 2 windows to get answers and is emotional for it. Whereas Coulson isn't criticized for being emotional after going off the deep end in episodes 9+10. If the Punisher was in Daisy's shoes, he'd be considered heroic and windows wouldn't be what he breaks. A bit of a disappointing viewpoint to see people have.

Alvin Cura

Thanks for the double drop! Oh, and the Trip(lett) love is awesome.

Oh! The "compression grenade" thing is corporate synergy. You gotta react to "Agent Carter" for that one to make sense. I'll bet you $40 USD, payable however you choose that at least Rana and probably Marketa would find it worthwhile. Only two 8-episode seasons. The rest would probably be at least peripherally interested due to the MCU connective tissue.

Alvin Cura

Oh, and fun fact: First time May ever called Simmons by her first name. If it was intended to underscore how personal what she was saying was, it worked (on me at least).

Kelly Parks

Nitramine was first introduced in Agent Carter. And did you catch the Daredevil reference? In the news crawl on the TV you see "Gang War in Hell's Kitchen." (2nd season Daredevil). Also, thank you, Normies, for the Double Drop!

Double drops of both Agents of SHIELD and Breaking Bad just made my week, thanks dudes!

Nudeldifudel

Yeah both this episode and his brother is kinda weak/weird in my opinion.

KuzonFire121

Whoaaaa, just realized Coulson quotes Ward in this episode, he tells Lincoln he has to do the wrong thing for the right reason, just like when Ward was trying to justify his own actions to his brother in 3x9, wouldn't have made the connection without your reactions so thanks Normies. Nahid, this is for sure ammo for Ward defense. Plus 3x16 will help with your argument of Ward being alive. I don't know if I agree with you, but its fun to watch you argue with the other Normies on this. Fight on.
