Nothing but love.

Jjj.

i dont hate it but for me is the worst in the show

Jarrod Wild

Critics love this episode and rank it very high, fans tend to be split. I've found that on rewatch it gets better and better. I like the idea of the show taking a breath to do a character study on Walt (mainly) and Jesse.

Love it!

Friends is good

fdEA

Favorite reaction team right now. Right before HxH.

ScarlettMi

Definitely liked it.

olof

You know a show is amazing when two guys hunting a housefly can be this intense.

MICHAEL THOMPKINS

I love this episode.....the writers can make any situation tense AF

autumn

Just realized this episode basically sets the tone for all of Better Call Saul, where the plot stakes are really low (catching a fly, standing on a tall ladder) but the emotional/character stakes are through the roof

For the record I'm on the love it side of the split.

PhantomZero

i love this episode. It may be a simple episode but there's something about it.

Directed by Rian Johnson of Brick, Looper, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 2 other much better episodes of BB... before the world turned against him because of The Last Jedi.

Kelly Parks

...And, it's a bottle episode. I wasn't crazy about it most of the way through (when I first saw it) but the rising tension at the end saved it.

autumn

This episode is directed by Rian Johnson, director of Last Jedi (and Looper & Brick). He also directs one of the other all-time great episodes Ozymandias

These two are obviously the heart of the show. Their dynamic is incredible I really enjoy them together. I don’t know how people couldn’t like this one. Plus the two of them are such amazing actors and friends and it shows.

To me the Fly represented Jesse stealing the crystal. Walt knew something was off but he couldn't put his finger on it, it was bugging him like a fly you can't kill. Jesse ends up not getting caught, thus he's the one who kills the fly.

Ellis hayes

Episode is super trash to me. I always skip it on rewatch

David Caine

This episode continues Walt's gnawing sense of dread and guilt over his actions and how they hurt the people he cares about. On the superficial level, yeah, it's a filler about catching a fly. It's really Walt's disturbingly facile way to distract himself and suppress the evil brewing in his psyche. It's why he says he is sorry to Jesse, whatever goodness Walt has, Walt is more easily learning to dismiss.

we need a double drop, this isn’t even like a real episode

thenormies

I got one coming soon for ya. I’m sure you all have an idea when. Also here soon we will be having some extra BB content that’s not reaction related but will be super fun! Thank you for your continuous support and loyalty fam! Means the world to us. - Nahid

Andrea C.

I was dreading this episode lol

Jay

Rian Johnson directing a divisive episode amongst fans... no that can't be. Thought it was ok first time watching but has grown on me since

Tony

It's a filler episode because they had no money left to use for the season. My feeling about the fly is that it's Walt's conscience nagging him, not leaving him alone, driving him mad, and then it dies.

ElectricAnt

This is one of those episodes where after watching them I jumped straight to googling what the hell happened, like with Bojack's underwater episode. Good stuff

Rafael Benedicto

I'd rather think the fly represents the "contamination" in Walt's life, due to the decisions he's made. This idea is reinforced by his admissions and mumblings near the end of the episode -- especially the line "it's all contaminated". Walt's life is contaminated.

Diesel

Yeah most people with ADD tendicies feel the same way. I really like it.

This is the best episode of the series.

Lilianne Brehme

You know when I first saw this episode I hated it, when I rewatched it I thought it was very interesting, but now seeing these clips and reactions, while not as good as others imo I think this is one of the best episodes of the series.

Curtis

Hi anyone who watches this 7mo later like me! The fly is Walt's guilt.
