Thank you for posting this first and early (:

Powers boothe is playing the same character from avengers. He was one of the people directing fury to launch the missile at New York. I can’t stress this enough guys the show answers all your questions if you don’t understand something right now they will explain it to you. Could be next episode or a season from now but there is not one question the writers don’t try to explain. You noticed that in this episode when you asked how Andrew survived. Everything is not always explained right away just take note of your questions and wait for the answers. Love your reaction tho.

Great reaction guys. In regard to the Lash twist, just keep watching. I promise it's not an ass pull and will make perfect sense when all is revealed. By the way, what episode have you guys watched up to?

Mten10th

Not paying attention even though it was confirmed in the episode that Banks was not part of the convoy. Also, maybe you should just watch before judging the Lash reveal.

Mten10th

Why react to a show you clearly don't want to like?

TheHumourTumour

I legit have no idea how you even come to the conclusion that they "dont want to like" the show

Jay

Mac does specifically say "Who wasn't there but knew the route we were taking" and Daisy replies "Banks."

Calculatus Eliminatus

I know it's a twist, but, we had figured it out on Reddit before it happened. They've been setting this up and leaving consistent clues all season long. As others have said today and many times in the past, nothing happens randomly on this show and if it seem that way, then you have to ask yourself what you missed first.

Remember that all characters in AoS have very deep backgrounds. Always expect more out of side characters, trust the writers have a plan and just go with it.

Watching along with you guys, and knowing what's gonna happen, you can see a bunch of clues hinted that it would be Andrew... however, I didn't pick up on any of them the first time through, so I don't blame you for being iffy about it. However, you'd notice all the breadcrumbs if you went back and watched again.

Where's episode 5 reaction?

Linsey Morris

i remember being so excited when i had correctly predicted andrew. i wasn't in on the fandom at that point in the show so i missed that it was apparently a popular theory i was just excited that i was right about this show for once. and i honestly had no real reason to back up my prediction i was just like WATCH IT BE ANDREW and it was just like you mickey lol. as usual, the show will fill in the blanks, i'm enjoying your theories up until that point tho!

Kim Carragher

All will be revealed soon, guys. Patience is key with SHIELD. But you know what? The writers love playing against our expectations and driving us nuts and purposefully making us doubt their abilities until the last second, so this reaction was thoroughly enjoyable

Was posted last week. Still here. Filter on Agents of Shield tag.

Yeah, the Lash twist was weird to me too, but I accepted it and the show explains it sufficiently later on. Character and story wise its definitely a way in which to get more out of May, I think its debatable whether this twist flows organically out of what was written or if it juts out as an obvious plot/character device, might be somewhere in the middle.

The hints for the lash reveal are all there: Like it's strange that Andrew would just leave May in between season 2 and 3 and it explains why lash didn't kill Daisy and it makes sense how lash knew about and found inhumans when he not only was in shield but their inhuman "specialist/inspector/shrink" or whatever. If they were going to bring in a new inhuman he would know, since he were going to judge if they could be on Daisys team or not. He also didnt clear any inhumans for daisys team yet, cause the they would be harder to get too. The inhuman who worked with lash in episode 4 had a condition whic required meds that only a doctor aka Andrew could provide. He was also buying painmeds (for the transformateion etc) When Von struvker came to get him. You also have the weird way he looks at the ginger inhuman after she comes back from being attacked by Lash, and some things he says which have some extra meaning/hints in it when you know he is lash. And the bin Strucker kid also looked teriified after running out from the store, which makes more sense now then he just being scared because it was his first time. And in any tv show the reveal is always someone we know, lash was never going to just be some random dude, and then andrew was more or less the only one it could be. So this is planned and not random even if it may seem so at first, just trust the writers when in doubt. So yeah the hints were there, but it's still surprising, which is one of the reasons why this is such a great show and rewatch show.

Am I the only one that can’t watch it?

James Avery

Great reactions as always y’all keep them coming👌🏾

Rufus May

I thought it was obvious that Andrew was Lash as soon as you find out he survived that assassination attempt.

I think Andrew personality was changed when he got his abilities but when it comes to him being able to control his powers reminds me of Zaheer from The Legend of Korra. He was treating all of the inhumans so he have experience with how to get a grasp on powers

Bringing Powers Boothe onto the show as Gideon Malick was a masterstroke. The writers took a seemingly one note bit-part "character" from The Avengers movie, made him into a three-dimensional character with hopes and fears and a backstory AND they added an extra dimension to the Avengers movie - we now know why Malick was so keen that SHIELD nuke New York. He was Hydra all along and he had his own twisted agenda. And if we stop to think, the series managed to make the disagreement between SHIELD and the world council make a lot more sense. Of course this was not planned at the time, but The Avengers would be a direct threat to HYDRA, so Malick was against their union. After Nick reunites them, sends a nuclear bomb into a city where the Avengers are and an alien invasion, it would be the best option to eliminate two threats to HYDRA at once.

It’s funny how rana was annoying nahid at the beginning of the reaction so it put him off from watching the show 🤣🤣 dude, I totally get you..but try and not take things to serious with yah girl, relax and have fun bro 🤣🤣🤣🤣 like the joker always say, “WHY SO SERIOUS..” lol

Sabrina Christensen

Everyone has already thoroughly explained your questions about Powers Booth's character Malick and about Andrew/Lash so I won't comment on those. I will ask that you please not be too hard on Daisy's overreaction to seeing the ATCU containment facility and Rosalind's stance on inhumans. Just try to keep in mind that she has still only recently lost both of her parents, one of whom tried to kill her, and an entire inhuman support network at Afterlife that was helping her find who she was as an inhuman. She is trying to figure herself out and she is the only good inhuman surrounded by all bad ones so I think when she takes this hard stance against Ros and the ATCU she is trying to convince everyone, including herself, that being an inhuman doesn't have to be bad and doesn't have to make you bad.

Nudeldifudel

She also feels resbonsible for all of these new inhumans because she is the reasons they were transformed.
