One episode a week does not work for this series at all. Too short and leaves me feeling empty. This has to be a double drop series! Seriously it's like 21 mins an episode, you can watch 3 within an hour!

You guys should really try and stop thinking that the Hunter Association cares about 'morals' as part of their examination. There's nothing about a hunter that is "good" in itself. If you can prove you have the power and capabilities to because a hunter, then you become a hunter. As long as you follow the rules of the exam, they don't really care what else you do.

Yes keep that in mind. If you recall Tonpa early in the series said that "The devil himself could pass if that were the examiners' determination," when talking about Hisoka. So, morals aren't really a huge deal when becoming a hunter imo.

This is a battle of conviction thats why you have to force ur opponent to concede but Gon has the strongest conviction out of all the applicants and so he actually won the way the hunter association wanted him to. Its also why netero sees Killua as someone with less potential than Gon because during their fight in thhe blimp it was Killua who gave up while Gon didnt
