Focusing on how the tape got there made you completely miss the whole point of the last few moments. Did none of you have that school project where you write a letter to yourself 10 years in the future? Well obviously she never received it because she was in Cryo, so it bounced around until if finally found her. Postal Service at its finest. How? Who cares. It found her. Now she's watching a video of herself in highschool, but she can't remember any of it because of her accident. Compare high school her to her now. Two very different people. She's the tragic character of the show if you haven't figure it out yet by Session 18.

Ah, was really excited to watch this reaction and then I read your comment...*sighs*. I find that they often miss more subtle moments in the shows they watch because they get too caught up in other details that would make sense to them if they just paid more attention. Faye slightly edges over Spike as my fav character in CB and to see them miss crucial character moments like her conversation with Gren in episode 12 and now this really disappoints me.

Kelly Parks

Thanks for the shout out, Normies! And yeah, if you can, you should watch the movie before the series finale.

Evan

Man they really did not get that ending. So disappointing. One of the most heartbreaking moments in the show and they couldn't get over the small details of how the tape got there. Jesus

This was just bad

Seeing Faye living this listless, depressing life where she spends all her time gambling and losing is pretty heartbreaking when compared to how cheerful and full of life she was as a kid. This episode really highlights how "un-anime" this show is in how it tackles some really mature themes about growing up. Not all of us grow up to be what we want, and sometimes we grow up to be the exact opposite.

Aw man, they missed the most crucial plot-point of the episode: Jet can easily carry that heavy 90's TV through a crumbling and flooded building. Jet is strong as fuck.

Trent Bowles

Oof, this was a rough one. Man, your innate need to nitpick really makes you guys miss a lot. It's been a spell since I've watched the show, but hasn't the show already explained how Earth got like it did? Though I imagine when they do figure out how Earth got like that they'll nitpick that to death as well. As much as I was looking forward to you guys reacting to Cowboy Bebop when you first announced it, this has been kind of a painful experience. Oh well, better luck next time!

Hopefully they finish cowboy bebop by this month so I can unsubscribe

As mentioned above and previously, there are some shows that you guys are watching that you have to pay attention to a lot more/talk less, and this is one of them. You're missing out on a lot of information that is spoon-fed to the viewers and then when a plot point is (well-)executed per the previous information given you have no idea how we got there. I know talking is part of the reaction but when you talk over the dialogue constantly this is bound to happen every time.. This isn't DBZ, and I'm kind of scared that when HxH gets more complicated, ie Chimera Ant Arc, you guys are simply not going to catch anything.

Pretry sure the show that guy was watching was supposed to be a 90210 thing. When the credits rolled, it said Jason Prest- and shannen do-, who were actors on the show. I dunno though, I was like 5 when that show was on So Jet told a story in the beginning of the episode that didnt quite translate well... but its about a man who saves a turtle and is taken to an underwater city. He thinks he's there for 3-4 days but he became homesick, wanting to see his family again and wanted to return. As he leaves, the turtle princess gives him a box and tells him to never open it. When he returns back to land, it turns out that 300 years had passed and all his family, his village had gone and he was alone now...so in his despair, he forgot the princess's warning and opens the box, changing himself into a old decrepit man. It's supposed to parallel Fay's whole arc(that we know so far), especially in this episode. At the end, they open the box of her past and it tragically shows how much she changed since the..before time? Before time. We'll go with that. Lastly, the two packages were delivered by a tortoise mail carrier and then a rabbit. Theres prolly something there too but I think i said enough by now. Hope y'all are enjoying the show!

Yeah I love the Normies but this was just painful to watch. How the tape got there is not important. Fayes reaction to the tape is what matters. Maybe don't talk for 30 seconds at a time and pay a little more attention.

thenormies

Hi Jairo! Thank you for pointing this out to us! It's hard to notice all of these details in first watch especially when in a group... We will be more careful when we watch Bebop from now and pay attention to small details. Thanks!

All reactors must refrain from talking and they must pretend to be me when I first watched the show or so help me god several spiteful paragraphs will be coming to a comments section near you. You're not here to have a good time. *yanks the leash*

I'm actually starting to wonder if they even will be able to remember explanations about 'you know what' and get them correctly lol and if they miss stuff or try to over-complicate it, they will definitely get confused in the next few arcs

Evan

All reactors must completely miss entire plot points People are expressing their disappointment. Nothing more. It's a reaction video, not a "let's talk over the moments we react to with analysis that should be fucking happening after the video is done" video

GhostPhil

If you want to watch something about space trash aroung the Earth, then watch Planetes! It is such a nice anime.

Mr. Big Stuff
