Season 1 is slow, but once it picks up it is the best tv content that has been produced in years, maybe ever.

Just so you know the show ENDED 5 years ago. The first season I believe was in 2008 so its already 10 years old.

Can someone smarter than me figure out what the green letters are referring to? [P]ilot Fa[Ir] U[S]e? I know P=Phosphorus Ir=Iridium and S=Sulfur, but that's about it.

Just make sure you stick with it. I've met a few people who didn't get the hype with the show starting out, and some even stopped watching. Things pick up a lot when you meet a character named Tuco.

oh this is nice! one of my fave shows. It has its downs but is really well done and I love that it doesnt stretch itself out too much. :) The Cinematography is really nice and subtle as well. (also I gotta say I enjoyed it more on my second rewatch because the forshadowing is so good.)

Ah, I remember binging it all in a week. Sweet times; it never got down for me. Maybe the pacing migh bother you some times with an episode per week but overall it's a legendary show; just discovered it this spring and can't wait to rewatch it with you guys

The initial decision is part of the disease of addiction. Those afflicted with the illness are genetically more likely to seek escape. It's not always drugs either, it's food, entertainment. and gambling as well. The specifics are irrelevant, it always boils down to escape.
