its just face my enemy but its posted so early today that ill allow it ;)

Thanatos

Brainwashing isn't the tool used to justify a villain. Its just another problem that our heroes have to get through. Keep watching it get much more complicated later on. I think its too early to say that brainwashing is a major aspect of this season because I can tell you now that isn't the focus of the arcs this season.

YIIII BOOOIIIII EARLY UPLOAD HERE WE GOOOOOO

Teddy S

Okay I'm only 7 mins in but, Nahid watching all "LoGang" videos.. respect level dropped man. I had you quite high so you're fine but still, several points down my dude.

n p

The brainwashed sleeper agent, trigger word, thing was introduced into the show to parallel Bucky / Winter Soldier in the movies, it just shows that the Manchurian candidate agent is something Hydra continues to use regularly, not just on Bucky... really, it's just another small thread that weaves the show into the movies.

i just want fitz to be happy

Thanatos

What? Nahid was just making a factual comment about how the actor who plays Skye is part of Logan Paul's group. I don't watch all his video's and I know she's involved in them. I seriously doubt Nahid is all about the "logang" if you have seen the other times this was brought up to the normies. You need to chill. And even if they aren't you don't know his reason for watching it so it shouldn't matter anyway.

HAHAHAHAHA...the last 10 mins!! I love how much Pat loves Ward. But calling Ward a "good guy" is just a whole new level of cray-cray fanboy-ing :P I am definitely team Marketa-Chris-Suraj on the 'dropping Fitzsimmons' debate. IMO, Ward dropped them to distance himself from his actions, acting more like a helpless spectator. Claiming that he gave them a fighting chance is a weak excuse to make himself feel better about what he did. Gonna miss Pat and how he gushes over Ward. I'm glad that you guys like Fitz (my fav) so much and are starting to like Hunter (my other fav). Also, how is it possible that you still don't understand what's 084? LOL. There has been at least 50 comments in the other videos explaining what it means.

Mten10th

To answer the question about the story. This is only the 4th episode of the season. This is not a show that you should make assumptions about the story.

Marketa is 10000% right. Ward couldn't kill Fitzsimmons face-to-face. He had grown close to them and therefore chose to obey Garret's command by selfishly killing them from a distance instead, just like he killed the dog. That was the whole point. He was in no way "saving them."

Thanatos

I kinda agree with both sides but only partially. He dropped them to kill them even if he doesn't see it that way. He's not a good dude but he's not as shitty and bad as the other side makes him out to be. He did have a fucked up childhood and he was manipulated. But at this stage in his life he needs to own up to his actions. He's still kinda lost and doesn't really know himself outside of doing these bad things. He does love sky though. He's a complicated character and is more than just a good or bad guy.

That coffee table move by May was badass and one of my favorites, but it really is only one of many epic fight scenes that are to come in SHIELD. As for the question on having a "defined" enemy preference - I'll just say that one of the best things about AoS is that the word "defined" doesn't really apply to any aspect of the show.

Anonymous

it is not that big of a spoiler but you kinda gave away what they dhould focus on

Heru Muharrar

If there's one thing I've learned about the Normies is if literally anything happens to a body part their solution is to cut it off lol.

I'm with Marketa a 100% on this argument, BUT i've gotta give one thing to Pat: although i mostly disagree with him on SHIELD (GoT is even worse haha) he's always entertaining as fuck. I laughed my ass off during the last few minutes of this video, he has this annoying talent to trigger everyone and i love it :D will miss that in the next videos.

Hey guys, cool reaction. First off, @Marketa no worries this season arc and villain doesn’t resolve around something as simple as brainwashing, it’s just something that makes HYDRA that more dangerous cause they manage to take Agents of SHIELD and turn them against their former colleagues. How cool was that fight between May and Agent 33?! Still one of my favorite. Also, that debate at the end about Ward brought up some fun memories cause it was the main debate within the fandom at this point. Every group of friends who watched the show had a “Brown Pat” someone who was unwavering in his faith in Ward. But me? I was like “Fuck him” from the moment he was revealed to be a double agent, then the fucker almost killed FitzSimmoms (and he had every intention to do so, no matter what he says, it’s like Micky said “He wanted to kill them without killing them”). I will give this to Pat though, he is 100% right, Ward does love Skye, but I must admit that when Pat called Ward “a good guy” I burst out laughing. It’s too bad Pat won’t be here for the rest of the season it would have been interesting to see him react to Ward’s arc. In any case looking forward to your reaction to next episode, hoping there is a double drop this week. See ya!

Well Chloe Bennett got brainwashed by Hydr- I mean the Logang. Shit happens in real life too.

Aes86

I don't know if it was "selfishly killing them from a distance" just easier to do. Would it have been less selfish to wait til they got the door open and shot them? He may have hoped they would be able to save themselves and that gave them a chance, but it was easier for him to push a button or have the dog running away to pull the trigger. When he was watching the unit go out he had the remorseful "I'm sorry / guilty " look but was weak where he felt he had to follow Garett's orders.

this show is one of the best at character writing and development so i'm happy to see you guys not only pick up on it but enjoy it. i very rarely love/care about new characters so soon in a season but i fell in love quick with mack and hunter, they gelled really well with the existing cast and this is an ongoing thing. people love working on this show and you can tell. next episode is one of my absolute favorites!!

Nudeldifudel

That cut at the end when Pat was going to explain something, LMAO. But really good reaction guys, now your getting in the groov of things. This is what season 1 reactions should have been like, but I get it, season 1 wasnt always the best. Like seeing Marketa and Chris enjoy the show. And that post episode ward discussion cracked me up, wish you had talked about some of the other stuff though ;D

Christopher simeon

Glad to see they are getting invested enough to argue. Agent of shield is a show that breaks tropes left and right so what you think might happen in a normal superhero show will probably be the exact opposite in this show.

DZ

LMAO ....it’s gonna be really fun to watch you guys watch it all play out!! Who’s right?!?!

DZ

And I think Pat is awesome!

outdoorcats

Pat's face at 7:15 lmbo

Linsey Morris

one of these days chris is gonna break out the b99 "cool motive, still murder" reference when someone is defending ward lmao

Gezno

Ward dropped Fitzsimmons in the ocean, of course he'll say whatever he has to.

Gezno

Pat's cool, sucks he's leaving.

Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen #1

2 months? Damn Fam, I’m going to keep it one hundo I’m really going to miss you...Cash!

Calculatus Eliminatus

Best part of the reaction? Look how much of the time people have smiles on their face.

Ward loves Ward. He is a malignant narcissist. He didn’t want to look them in the face when he killed them. Same with his dog S01E21. He fired the first round to get the dog fetch the kill and shot the dog whilst it was search for the quail. He cared about them (FitzSimmons). That was a weakness. He needed to overcome that weakness. Everything he said afterwards is just rationalization for him to maintain the narrative in his head that he is the hero of his story. A good villain always believes he is doing bad things good reasons. A very well written character believes his own bullshit.

I have such a different interpretation of the Ward and the dog scene. I thought he let the dog go but then Garrett killed the dog to show the futility of him caring. It's this futility that then lead him to "killing" FitzSimmons. I'd have to re-watch it to be sure but I was certain it was Garett who had the rifle swung over his shoulder when he picked Ward up from the woods...

Maithri

To anyone who has seen Torchwood, this is probably how it feels to see someone watch Season 2 after you've seen the whole season. Better than Season 1, but man how far the characters have come by the end!

Fitz is the best character in this show. Fight me!

Why did you guys just spoil Attack on Titan?
