This episode reminds me of The Earth King episode from atla s2! A huge epic fight at the beggining and then some detective work to reveal a traitor

How far have you guys gone through the season? Because theres a little fun fact about this episode that ties in to the 2 part finale thats only really relevant if you guys just finished book 3 and are about to go into book 4. I'm sorry for asking every week how far you guys are into the season, its just with all the bingeing you guys do, me and probably other fans of yours are probably out of the loop and the trivia we give you guys wont be as relevant as it would be on the spot

Raziel Slaughter

Can’t wait for more shit to get revealed to them this season. Sometimes I really wish they would just release more than one episode.😪

Avatar creator got his show on Netflix called Dragon Prince. Tba

ahaha that Zaheer impression at the end tho. Great discussion about the episode, you guys are going to love the coming ones.

Team Avatar vs Dark Team Avatar! I like how compared to Combustion Man, P'Li doesn't feel like she has that raw strength in her explosions but she does have more control and accuracy. Agreed with your assessment of Korra this season, Suraj :) When Asami sleeps, she wears makeup and color coordinates it with her sleepwear confirmed!

Eddie Gamboa

Sparky Sparky Boom Bae is my new tramp stamp, or at least my new Twitter handle.

Kanan Jarrus

Thank you for all of your effort Suraj, it is well appreciated

McPickle

here are the names again, just incase. Air Bender=Zaheer, Earth/Lava Bender=Ghazan, Combustion Bender= P'Li(pronounced P-LEE), Water Bender=Ming-Hua. Also yes P'Li can curve her shots.

Anthony

Ghazan is OP and needs a nerf in next patch.

Jose

FUN FACT: In case no one did not noticed it, those little needles that Ming-Hua and Zaheer shot to Nagga and Korra contained some type of substance from the animal called the Shishu which is the animal that appeared in ATLA. This animal could instantly paralyze anyone or any animal by simply stretching and touching its tongue against its target. This animal was owned by June who helped the GAANG to find Aang at the end of season 3:Fire

KuzonFire121

Nahid, with the Angel shirt? I see you fam

Jose

Can we all take a moment of appreciation to Pabu who technically saved Korra when no one else noticed it. Not even the guards lol. I think he deserves a medal.

BlackHeart279

Maaan I just saw the animals and didn’t even put “Wolf Ram and Hart” together, you good

Zach

Suraj you should have no idea who Kale is! lol

'black lotus' :^)

Cool reaction, this is the episode that start the build up toward the season finale. I really liked this episode specially the whole fight sequence in the first half but I didn’t like how the Bei Fong sisters often revert back to bickering and mistrusting each other. Lin suspecting Sue had anything to do with Korra’s attempted abduction was messed up, but Lin going against her sister’s wishes was kinda annoying. Really interesting and relevant points being discussed at the end, see you next week!

This show is amazing! I wonder is Navi ever started watching Korra?

One of the chief WRITERS on Avatar, Aaron Ehasz, is co-creator of The Dragon Prince. Mike and Brian are not involved.

Jose

Its a nice little detail that Mike and Bryan decided to add the color purple to Asami's pajamas because that color symbolizes the wealth and richness she has if no one did not noticed it. lol

Great reaction guys. I have a question about this episode. When Korra was kidnapped, why did Zaheer not use the technique to disappear quickly while they had Korra? I mean, it didn``t seem complex to run this escape movement, after Ghazan turned the ground into lava they could just run away with Korra.

Jose

Answer: There were too many guards around to leave. The end

SER

I'm SO pumped for the rest episodes of the season!!!

Jose

Did anyone noticed who that Zaofu lady guard is who kept popping up out of nowhere. That guard who said, "Its over, release the Avatar" while they were trying to get Korra from Zaheer's group. I wonder who she is. Maybe its just my stupid brain lol

Julia Contreras

These reactions are getting so good. I'm really happy that you're enjoying this season.

Anonymous

This is the first of many episodes that I will be eager to see the uncut versions of their reactions.

Tina L

The fight in Zaofu is one of my top favorites fights in Korra. I am really looking forward to the uncut reaction.

Frankie H

The Metal Bender Guards are really good at their jobs to stand up against Zaheer's team for so long. They really held their own.

That 'Zaheer' outro- niiiice!

Anthony

Suraj needs to watch this Asami music video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCw09aQHEHg

Dajefe70

Yeah your reactions are awesome. Also awesome is how slowly you are piecing things together. I can’t wait until you see how everything comes together at the end.

Anonymous

Btw they thought about making a flashback scene were it showed the first time they tried to kidnap korra and show sokka and zuko fighting them and everything

Anonymous

Next episode is gonna be so good!

Anonymous

This hasn't been confirmed (to my knowledge), it's just an observation: Sparky Sparky Boom Man's tattoos emanating from the eye are linear, P'Li's are sinusoidal. That possibly denotes her ability to curve the trajectory of her explosions

Anonymous

Yeah, I wish they would give her a name, maybe have her say it only once :P

Lavota Carter

Not sure if someone has already said but the music for the Dark Avatar Squad is a combo of each of their OVAs. Zaheer had a woodwind theme and then over time that he liberated his crew the music expanded to what it is now.

Lavota Carter

I think vs Azula, Mai, and TyLee the evil Gaang is way stronger and terrifying because of their power. But Azula was scary because of her strength, her group was scary because of their advantages in resources. Aang was on the run with limited food and water, meanwhile Azula's crew had transport and full support of the dominating nation.

Jose

that is an interesting detail you noticed right there i have to admit.

Anonymous

Azula was never scary lol, she was a great villian. But she was never intimidating like characters such as Amon, Ozai, Zaheer
