 Hello! Here we go with another FMAB!! We were all super excited to get to know Ice Queen! I love how the show just throws things at you out of nowhere, like what is this homonculus? What is it? Is it dead? I think it's dead? But also that death, I wouldn't wish upon Fuhrer himself, burn/freezing like that... It is so hard now to end our binges and leave the TV screen alone lol

"Hello, little red runt" Yep! Only Olivier gets to call Ed "little" and get away with it xD This episode was also a great way to see two differing worlds clashing. Briggs's motto is "survival of the fittest", and because they're always on guard against the enemy attacks or spies infiltrating from the neighboring country, Drachma, it makes sense why everyone at Briggs is kind of a hardass. Ed not being able to say anything to Olivier also makes sense, especially when you consider the fact that Winry and Granny Rockbell are basically held against him. It would be no surprise that Ed has them on the forefront of his mind when he's demanded answers. He has to be careful.

i agree the designs for each Humocluous are great. Envy takes many forms as you can be jealous of anything/anyone. Greed can be a strength but is based on a brittle construct. Gluttony is ravenous in hunger but isn't very devious or vindictive in itself.

Genocide is not equal to burning up the countryside but the outskirts of Amestris were innocent of the Ishvalan Conflict. I don't see how you could even argue they were complicit in it. The countryside was ravaged by the fighting, burning, and disease became rampant. So Ed has a very valid reason to be angry at the fallout.
