The movie doesnt take place between the final 2 episodes but between episodes 22 and 23

No. You can't. Taking a deep breath and holding it would cause your lungs to expand and rupture inside your body on exposure to vacuum. A very messy death. If you are suddenly exposed to vacuum you're supposed to yell to get the air out of your lungs.

Exposure to vacuum causes you to violently lose pressure from both ends. You have 20 or 30 seconds of useful consciousness before you pass out. You'll be dead of asphyxia in a few minutes. Also note, you do not instantly freeze, as has been portrayed in a few recent movies. Your corpse will actually take quite a while to cool off.

I just realized I can't remember how many episodes are in cowboy bebop for some reason thinking it can be anywhere from 24-26 I just know the movie is definitely before the last 2 episodes
