To clarify some things in the episode. First, Naomi didn't know the speed limit changed when she woke up from the extreme deceleration. She saw the purple glow around the Roci in her sensors and tried accelerating her tiny tug to reach them which caused a fire in her command console. Also Melba used an emergency airlock device to breach Roci's hull then reseal the pressure. Thats why Naomi noticed a small drop in pressure then went to check it out and was able to investigate the cargo hold without a pressure suit.
