Ahhh this was a great episode! So much and TOO much lore drop to write out a message so I will let you all just listen to our discussions instead. Hope this edit doesn't feel too choppy. I really wanted to get all the good bits in there.

I don't know if you guys read these comments, but Mustang was never in Xerxes. Xerxes is an ancient country, so the people would have been sacrificed 100s of years ago.

Fun fact: Ed punching back through the door was not originally in the manga, though Arakawa herself loved the new addition. Bradley is basically a human-based homunculus with only one soul. With the others, what we know so far is that they were artificially made and have multiple souls within them because of the stone. So in comparison to that, Bradley's kind of the same but also really different from them. "Big brother...wanna play? Let's play" Ed's still thinking of Nina! Makes sense, especially when he's basically facing a similar situation to back then again. He was helpless to do anything to help Nina, and he's helpless to do anything for the souls trapped in Envy.

Yeah I think they confused Ishval with Xerxes. Easy mistake to make, both are in dersert settings and both had terrible things happen to them.

The next episode is confusing when watching it for the 1st time. It is one of my favorite episodes in the entire show though. I also hope they do the ova over the ishval war.

It's funny because the shot of him pointing his finger has such a manga panel look. Great addition though :)

Phisosipher stone! lol! The parts with envy in this episode and the previous one were great, one of the most interesting villains besides Bradley in the show , also envy has no gender you can call it by he, she, they or it, it doesn't matter much : ) Next ep is definitely one of the one you'll appreciate in hindsight cause lets be honset everyone was confused in the next episode
