Hey everyone! Enjoy another Early Access for Legend of Korra. This is part 2 of Civil Wars. Season 2 so far hasn't been quite as bad as some people have made it out to be!

Some like it some don't,create your own opinion. Fact is everyone agrees that the last 3 episodes of Season 2 are AMAZING, believe me.

Season 2 isn't bad per say. It is just that Season 3 is phenomenal with the best villain in all of Korra AND Avatar. So compared to seasons 3 and 4 season 2 is just a tad meh :/

It really isn't that bad at all, but you know the world we live in. Everything is either the best thing ever or the worst. It has some issues, but starting from that major two parter book 2 becomes really good.

Strong disagree. S2 is awful. I'm glad the Normies don't seem to hate it as much as I do, though. I'm still enjoying their reactions.

Glad you’re enjoying the frankly underrated first half of season 2. Yeah the animation is wonky for most of season 2, again however the last few episodes, as well as THAT two parter all have normal animation. Same for all of book 3 & 4.

The animation in Book 2 for episodes 1-6 and 9 was done by Studio Pierrot because Studio Mir (the studio who animated the first season) was tied up on other projects. Studio Mir was able to animate the amazing two parter “Beginnings” as well as episodes 10-14. The quality is noticeably better for those episodes.

This season definitely isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. I feel like people tend to overexaggerate the things they don't like and underappreciate the things they do like, as is the case with virtually everything on the internet. If you've learned anything from the Avatar series as a whole, you should know balance is important. I'm glad you guys can see both the good and bad and still enjoy yourselves.

Yep, this is correct! Worth noting that Studio Mir was doing Boondocks season 4 at the time because they wanted something easier to work on - according to their studio head, they were overworked after the first season of Korra, which was their first job as a studio.

I can’t remember if they’ve mentioned seeing it before, but have the normies seen the new friends/old friends poster? I pretty sure it came out around about the release of book 2 and it has nothing that spoils the show. If they haven’t they should definitely check it out if they enjoyed that family picture.

People seem to have a hard time accepting Korra for what it is. Is it a masterpiece? No. That got shafted on budget more often than not and still managed to put out an emotionally enticing, and very humorous (even more so than the gaang in some aspects) follow up series. I love the world and the lore, and anyone who truly loved TLA can TLK the benefit of the doubt.

That's not true. It is explained at the very beginning of season 2. To quote the script itself "Six months ago, Avatar Korra defeated Amon and the Equalists. Since then, the council was disbanded and the United Republic elected its first president."

i looooove the hallway shot, the animation in this shot is so freaking good although its pretty short. Season 2 is really better than I remember it was. Love the reaction ofc!

Ikki wasn't the one attracted to the statue. That was Jinora. Also I love the blackbox in the right hand corner(that is what I am calling it from now on).

You guys seem to be mixing up the airbender girls at times. Jinora is the older, introverted bookworm that was looking at the mysterious statue. Ikki is the talky middle-child with the pom-poms who got lost. Oh, and welcome back, Chris! Hope you stick around for further reviews!

I vaguely remember that during book 2 there was a strike of some sorts plus funding was pulled and put back, and all sorts of behind the scenes shenanigans was going on. The animation is worse/different, and they even have one or two episodes where they REALLY put in cost savings measures. It kinda sucks. Out of the 4 seasons,2 is by far my least favorite, BUT it establishes so much lore and back story that it is essential and still great. BTW, I love all the Normies, but Avatar is kinda...I don't know. I associate it with the "Original 4." I like Chris (and Marketa) a lot. I find him, or anyone for that matter, a distraction that breaks the flow in the Avatar reactions. Take that as just feedback I didn't want broadcast on public youtube videos. I like all The Normies and all the videos, and out of your thousands of fans you have no obligation to any one particular person. I will watch regardless. It's just one data point of feedback.

I'm glad that Nahid was able to point out what Korra is going through. The fact about Korra has two identities: one being herself as a person to her family and friends and 2 being the Avatar in order to establish balance and peace. Unlike Aang who had no related issues as to what Korra is going through. Also, I want to say I hope you keep on liking this series to a point where you will extremely love it just like me because it is the only FAVORITE series that I have along with ATLA.

Did you guys notice that the voice actor for Varrick is the 'seize the day!' professor on Community? It drove me crazy that I knew his voice from somewhere but couldn't recall where.
