Nothing beats that reaction when Drummer caps those two punkasses. I believe she (Cara Gee) impressed the authors so much with her performance that they wrote her character into the story later on in the novels! So I'm pretty sure she makes it for the foreseeable future :D

Daniel Abraham, one of the authors of the books, who also writes for the show, teased this episode before it aired by saying that Cara Gee had one of his favorite moments from the entire season in that episode. And damn, was he right. Drummer has become a huge fan favorite, and even though she's a relatively minor character in the books (until much later, as you noted), the people making the show have promised there will be much more Drummer to come. Not only is she bad-ass, but the show runners talk about how well she speaks English as if it's a foreign language to her. She's great.

About the Belter language (Lang Belta it's called), you're right, they put a lot of work into it. In the books, the authors just had the Belters speaking English with a few words from other languages mixed in. They have freely admitted that the show did it much better. For the show, they hired a Linguist (Nick Farmer is his name) to invent the language, and they have another linguist on set who works as a dialog coach, helping people with pronunciation and stuff. They're very serious about it. And yes, because this is a "genre" show with genre fans, of course there are people all over the world who are trying to learn the language and promote its use. Lang Belta hasn't quite reached the popularity of Klingon yet, but it's getting there. There are several websites with Lang Belta dictionaries, a memrise Lang Belta course, a subreddit devoted to Lang Belta, a Discord channel where people speak Lang Belta as much as they can (including two scheduled chats a week), a Twitter Hashtag (with new words posted by Nick and by various cast members)... it's a lot of fun. A friend of mine has even done some Lang Belta classes at several conferences. People are definitely into it.

/r/LangBelta, for those who are curious. Although I think Nick routinely gets annoyed when they take liberties with the rules he tries to establish, i.e. using "beltalowda" as more a of an adjective when it literally means "all Belters". There's a Memrise course now? *downloads app again*

Hey Ebony!! Thanks for joining and thank you for your support. When editing full reactions we are not allowed to use the whole video from the show. That would violate copyright rules. So instead for full reactions we ask you to Sync the video on your end so you can watch for us. The videos I edit i put 4 sync points to help you sync your video with ours. - Nahid

The INNER planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, & Mars. When a "belter" refers to "inners" he/she is talking about earthlings and martians. The belters are caught in the middle of the Earth/Mars conflict, but the asteroid belt is not LOCATED between the planets' orbits. The belt is between the orbit of Mars and Jupiter
