Normies where can I send y'all a 2-3 min video that all of you, including all the ATLA and korra fandom will enjoy reaction too? Please film it. You can fit in after or before your korra reaction. I guarantee you'll enjoy it. Please contact let me know

Ariel W

Super early! :D

Thank you guys for the early release! <3

Sean Penn

This is such a great episode because of how well they show Amon's terror. He is in Korra's head and she is falling apart from it.

Yip yip, what it doooo

Sean Penn

By the way, its Asami. Not Asama. Haha

Ken Dillon

Everything moving so fast is one of the issues Korra had as a series. Season 1 was supposed to be the only season, so a lot had to happen in each episode for the story to get where it needed to be by the end of the short season. The seasons are half the size of ATLA seasons, and the creators were only given 1 season to work with. After this one did well they got one more season, and so they assumed they would have to wrap that story up in the 12-13 episodes. It’s not in normal for multiple days to happen in one episode with this series.

Darksteel78

Dang. I wasn't expecting this until tomorrow. Good stuff!! Much love.

Kanan Jarrus

That was sooner than expected

Fun fact: asami is voiced by the actress who played Princess Yue in the movie version

Mark Nutz

Her name is Asami not Osama

Anthony

Hiroshi Sato looks like Japanese Ted Roosevelt.

Jackie

Asami is voiced by the actress who played Princess Yue in the atrocious live-action film :D

You guys are getting into that habbit of talking too much again

Katarina Kurko

Kinda agree with you. A lot is happening in this season,I hope they won't miss anything.

Burooj Ahanger

I mean you could do the same with Appa. "Does Appa *insert dog/bear traits* ?"

Dajefe70

Here's a trivia fact: Korra used to be one of the hosts on TBS dinner and a movie. She was the cute lady host.

Chris V

I mean Micky, Bollin also has green eyes and wears green almost all the time so...

Chris V

They did see that someone else, they said who they thought it was right before rewatching it.

I love this episode not only because of how frightening Amon's presence was or how real of a threat he is, but also because we get to see how Korra's affected by all of it. By Amon and by her own fears and insecurities. This is the *same girl* that blasted down a wall and confidently proclaimed "I'm the Avatar, and you gotta deal with it!" and in *just* a short span of time, she's reduced to a scared insecure teen. The Avatar title and her bending means everything to her, so the very thought of someone like Amon being able to take all of that away must be terrifying. Nightmare Amon even said it "After I take your bending away, you'll be nothing". Also, I know some people would say Korra was really reckless and at times stupid in this episode, but I found it understandable. Fear and insecurity often makes people do stupid things and I think all of that was characterized very well as well as showing a lot more insight into Korra as a character. It showed me that despite the bravado of confidence and cockiness she puts up, underneath all of that, she's just a scared teen with a lot of insecurities. Asami Sato has entered the playing field!! Just as a few people already said, she's voiced by Seychelle Gabriel who played Princess Yue in the live-action movie. The only good thing to come out of that movie was Bryke meeting her and later casting her as Asami :)

Well, it is normal for LoK. I believe the creators actually said they preferred small seasons of 12-14 episodes and that they actually planned that for ATLA too, but Nickelodeon wanted the seasons to be longer.

KuzonFire121

Finally, what’s good bae? 4 episodes is too long

Ben Wenger

Wooooo Tarrlok hype! I actually really like Tarrlok as a character.

Anonymous

I rather enjoyed Micky's duck face throughout this episode. lol

I'm the solution..

Many have already mentioned Asami, but it’s also worth noting that: Hiroshi Sato, Asami’s father, is voiced by Daniel Dae Kim who played Jin on Lost and also voiced General Fong (the Earth Kingdom General who tried to force Aang into the avatar state) in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Tarrlok is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who also provides the voice for virtually every creature in both Legend of Korra and Avatar: The Last Airbender including Appa, Momo, Naga, and Pabu.

Hi everyone, I'm so happy you guys decided to Legend of Korra. As you may have already heard some people find LOK (legend of korra) a hit or miss among its audience. The original series is a phenomenal show on its own and very easy to make comparisons. I loved the original show too! It had an amazing story and characters and had an overarching theme on personal growth however, I felt it lacked a genuinely compelling villain. With LOK, as you guys have already discussed, tackles contemporary issues like discrimination and equality in society that is also personified in its main antagonist. I really hope you guys watch the whole series as social issues, themes of ideology , and spirituality are just some of the central themes in LOK, and to see Korra struggle, grow and navigate a changing world as a teenager on a new adventure it worth it. The show is thought-provoking, fun and you'll discover so much lore about the avatar world. Hope you guys continue to keep an open mind and most of all have fun and enjoy the ride :)

I'm pretty sure Earth Benders usually have green eyes and Fire Benders have orange eyes

Anonymous

Yeah, in this world, eye color is largely based on which nation you're from. The water tribes have blue eyes, earth kingdom has green eyes, and fire nation has amber eyes. Mako has amber eyes and Bolin has green eyes, because their mom was from the earth kingdom and their dad was from the fire nation

Just so you know the tag on this episode is not consistent with the other 3. This one says "THE legend of korra" the others simply say "legend of korra". Just letting you know since tags seem to be the only effective way to search for a video.

Selena

It's actually the other way around (regarding Mako and Bolin's parents) :)
